But I really have nothing against Gustavo... it’s him who has it in for me because I don’t give it to him! But perhaps the reason is another; I remember that his love-hate relationship started after one of my posts where I bluntly (and ironically) criticized teenagers: "Teenagers are the most disgusting people on the planet. Ignorant, vulgar, arrogant, lacking personality and good taste...". Perhaps he feels like he’s part of that category...

Kind was my first jazz album, it struck me and changed my life. It changed my way of thinking, widened my sensitivity, and made me more patient, attentive to details. I am much better now as a person; I used to contemplate much less ;-) "Blue In Green" along with "Jade Visions" (by Bill Evans) is among the most poignant pieces of music I have ever heard, it always brings tears to my eyes!

Speaking seriously, I agree with the two peaks, but unlike you I prefer Miles Smiles, because in my opinion a "Circle" and a "Footprints" are truly something different, on another level compared to the beautiful "Infant Eyes" and "Speak No Evil." But tastes are tastes! One last consideration and I’ll close: the personnel of "Speak No Evil" are 3/5 of Miles Davis's quintet; if the same compositions had been played with Miles on trumpet instead of Freddie Hubbard, and Williams on drums instead of Elvin Jones, don’t you think it would have been even more magnificent?

I prefer "Bitches Brew" to "Kind of Blue".....oh my God, it makes me want to vomit (Renato Pozzetto would have said)! ;-)))
