Instead of responding in the way you deserved, I explained my personal and legitimate reasons, based on my experience, in the clarity one would use with children—something you are neither able nor qualified to judge. Not only did you not apologize for your blunder during the exchange, but now you're telling me that I should apologize? Apologize for what? You were the rude one! And you should be the one to backtrack, as you wanted to impose your view on everyone at all costs, whether right or wrong, or else risk losing your regard for my intelligence. Believe me, I can gladly do without that regard! Male offspring, and in the future, avoid certain dialectical games with those who are more savvy than you.

ThirdEye, how does everyone like it? It has many opponents who openly criticize it! By universality, I meant that its (or Final Fantasy's?) music does not possess intrinsic qualities that make it enduring, that allow it to last through time. An Allevi CD will be shelved after just a few listens and will not be passed down to future generations.

I don't like the character, too focused on attitude and image. Acting like a fake fool is what he does best; concerning the music, it's pleasant and melodic but trivial, lacking universal qualities and is short-lived, similar in this to that of Ludovico Einaudi. I would give Allevi a 3.

And anyway, I assure you that I've developed a bit of sixth sense for music that doesn't interest me over many years of listening, and it's not based on a priori judgments but rather on POSTERIOR judgments. You get burned once, twice, and then you learn to follow the cues that should have warned you against the music that's not for you. And don’t tell me that you don’t judge at all based on external credentials (i.e., appearance). I want to see if you would calmly open your front door to a guy with blood-stained hands, maybe completely covered in piercings and tattoos, and with a shaved head (just to mention some clichés that, when combined, start to carry weight), or if you'd give your daughter in marriage to him without first analyzing him, scanning him, and judging him in every way. Maybe he had blood dripping from his nose and just wanted some cotton, but for caution, you’d do better not to let him in, wouldn't you agree? Less hypocrisy, please, and let’s not put Christina Aguilera and Miles Davis on the same level of respectability.

Every time I've had the misfortune of wasting my precious time watching a video of this hip-hop garbage, they have been soaked in arrogance, opulence, and hypocrisy, shitty music and zero artistic content! Perhaps these N.E.R.D. are true artists, “right,” “underground,” and “alternative”? Maybe, I don't know because I've never delved into this world, which to me seems to offer very few attractions; however, the clues at my disposal (including the very commercial cover) have led me to lump them together with the other garbage from MTV.
