What a surprise and a pleasure, it's the first time someone has returned to one of my reviews after some time and reassessed their judgment! I often find myself changing my evaluation of the music I listen to, especially with certain albums that have a calm tone, ā€œsottovoce,ā€ but are actually full of gentle bite. On the first listen, they often seem a bit dull, but gradually they grow and grow. I am madly in love with Nisa and Barakaat! P.S. Since your 5 no longer counts for the average, I'll vote it for you ;-)

Adder, are you joking? Clearly, you don’t know me! Generally, I tend to be overly serious and respectful, but yesterday I was in a joking mood, and I thought it was obvious that I had adopted a good-natured, teasing tone to break the ice with you, since you recently arrived and I feel fond of you... As for the whole "negretto" discussion, it just makes me laugh! Honestly, I find the alternative you propose (neretto, can't stand it) ridiculous, as if it's a word invented out of fear of being labeled racist. I don’t have that fear, that "complex" at all, and I can guarantee that my MANY African friends get quite annoyed if someone is overly "sensitive," treating them with kid gloves as if they were touchy people looking for a reason to misunderstand a phrase or a word and play the victims. In my opinion, it's the intentions behind the words that make them offensive, and excessive precautions and scruples make them feel that you're actually treating them differently from others, thus marginalizing them as a hypocritical bourgeois RACIST pretending to be their friend. They don't even consider the skin color issue!! If you do, there’s something wrong... "Negro" is only offensive when preceded by "dirty," "ugly," etc. etc.

Ole, you should do this for a living. I'm not joking.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start any controversy, okay? The topic doesn't particularly matter to me! Besides, you even specified the jazz-fusion genre, so I apologize.

Well, sure, classifications are always limited, partial, and imprecise, sometimes misleading, especially if you're going to use them, at least try to make them as non-misleading as possible ;-) If you're writing a review about Mozart, you either label it "Classical" or leave it blank, you definitely don’t label it "pop-rock"...
