DT are not a farce, "Images and Words" is, whether one likes it or not, a masterpiece in its genre; I agree they have lost themselves in a series of self-celebratory endeavors that are nothing short of embarrassing, but the technical and compositional possibilities were, and likely still are, very valid. I am not familiar with the band being reviewed.
