June Of '44 Tropics and Meridians

Thank you all for the great feedback and in order: @Zanna: you are always so kind, thank you! @Lewis: just to clarify: I agree that the influence of Fugazi is there, but my intention was to insist that when talking about June of 44, it would be more unforgivable not to mention Slint, that's all. Thank you for your usual insightful input! @Mary: in my opinion, it's their best work. @Ole: you should like this knowing you, give it a try and let me know what you think. Thanks again to everyone!

the Boston fan was missing too... ;-)

Yes, yes, I agree, it's just that I feel sorry that the new generations (and if someone listens to Joy D at 15, it means they have room for improvement) find themselves facing certain brutes at their first review, that's all.

I apologize to voicefaice for bringing it up, I meant Villagevoice, I'm really messed up ;-)

Of course, excessive niceness bothers me too, but probably voicefaice was referring to comments like number 5.

No, those are hard to digest... of course, you're also piling on... ;-)

@Donjunio: probably just because he’s 15, in ten years he’ll have changed his mind come on: lightness, brothers!

Yes, my friend, Supersoul, but you also forget the essence of DeB is the debate; if we don't let the parvulos (I'm addressing myself) express their opinions too, they will never grow. So let's include the 1s but moderate the tones, don't you think?

@Villagevoice: you're wrong, all those who frequented this site at the age of 15 (the reviewer's age) were expert critics and music professors, didn't you know? ;-) Oh, just to clarify, my score is a non-vote, not a zero for the review (of which I do not share some analyses anyway) :-D

P.S: I used the term "rompervi" and not " romperci" because I absolutely don't feel the problem; the world, and this site, have far greater issues to face than the proliferation of duplicate reviews on DeB.
