@Don: so, honestly, in "Undertow" I find many references to the Noise sound of bands like Jesus Lizard or Helmet, which I believe are also present here (as you've pointed out yourself), so the comparison, for me, holds up. "Undertow" is a deeply different album from the others (with the exception of "10,000 Days," which should be explored further elsewhere); it has nothing of the Prog orientation that Tool would take on later; it’s direct, with simple sounds but contrasting with each other, yet with many underground elements, laments, noises, whispers - in this, I think it can resemble "Nurse". Similarly, "Opiate," of course, which still belongs to what I call the post-Grunge Tool phase, and of course, everything is debatable, as they list, for example, the Pixies among their major influences...

@Icnar: thanks for the critique, unfortunately I think perfection doesn't exist, however I assure you that I am constantly working to get closer to it, but then what do you want, those who argue can fall into formal flaws unlike those who don't, like you do now and usually do in your DeBaser presence, which is a bit more protected, but also less credible. Then you are right, the review is not a masterpiece, but I assure you it is just "Feuilletton", it wasn't aiming to become the "Divine Comedy" :-D @Don: yes, the comparison, but I specify with the "Tool" from "Undertow" and that's it, as I also say in the review, it is very personal, I included it to see what other Users think, your opinion was very interesting to me. Thanks for the Comment!

I didn't like CW, so I have some doubts about this job, maybe I'll get it back since you gave it 4 stars and you're usually strict.

I don't mind them too much, sure they often rely on their Gore identity but that can be forgivable, I'm not familiar with that. Can you do me a favor? Please avoid mentioning Maiden in every Metal review so as not to give reasons for certain historically inaccurate comments, like the one from dear Icnar, thanks!

No, no Azzo, it’s not about Elio, for that we’re waiting for you: a nice AzzoVsFusiVsHowdy ;-) Come on, the June weren’t boring live, and damn it! @Pre: well, it's not about simple songs those of Rodan but after a while, if you get into their systems, they fascinate, at least me ;-) that said, better I June!

Sure, Adder! @Festwca: mmm, personally, I prefer June, but due to obvious continuity, I don't mind Rodan either. You know what? I strangely got to know Rodan in the '90s after they had already broken up, following the trail of June. I looked into their origins, and of course, their previous bands came up. Like I think most people in Italy, I also approached Slint later on. So, from an emotional point of view, for me, Post-Rock is the "June of 44" (I want to point out to the magnificent Editors that the exact name is without the apostrophe before the year) and "Tortoise."
