@Rikiii: I don't love "The X Factor", in fact, me too, and I was joking about Rivoli, sometimes he might be right too, poor guy. ;-)

I see, from dear Mien's comment, that the meaning of the quotes in the opening wasn't fully grasped. But, honestly, do you believe that I took a quote from Severgnini just for the sake of it? To make a fool of myself for no reason? It’s obvious that there is more to it: I want to convey that I think the attitude of many "cultured" people, and one in particular regarding DeB, is a disguise and not a true disposition. It’s clear that I want to make it understood that quoting sophisticated references doesn’t necessarily mean being intelligent, that using a complex and refined language is not synonymous with cultural depth, and that my intention is to assert the value of simplicity in contrast to the vulgarity of ostentatious rhetoric. That’s all; these things shouldn’t need explaining, as the risk is that it gives the chance to twist my intentions again, but given the comments, it may be better this way.

Their worst album reflects the internal crisis they were going through and a rushed production; by taking a little more time, they might have ended up with a good record because they certainly have good ideas.

@C'e': you were presumptuous, yes you had the right to be, and you could do it; I had the right to point it out, and I did. You insisted, and I reiterated. You tried to twist things around, and I fixed it. I don’t think I infringed on any of your freedoms. I read what you had to say, and it confirmed my opinion of you, which I pointed out. I didn't say you had to agree with me or that you couldn’t speak. Since you tend to understand what you want and, indeed, twist things around, I wanted to make sure the issue was clear to you. And please, don't play the shepherd in wolf's clothing now; you didn’t say that mine was a review of the edition, you said it shouldn’t be published. Re-read yourself; that’s what sparked the discussion. As for the copy-pasting of content, I don’t understand what the problem is since I briefly comment on the points I find most interesting above. Moreover, I repeat, since you don’t understand, I do mention the fundamental aspects of the edition. Anyway, this change of tactics from aggressive to victim really doesn’t suit you. @Sanjuro: elegant as usual, huh? @Rivoli: you really do enjoy making a fool of yourself... @Mien: thanks for stopping by.
