Duran Duran Red Carpet Massacre

I don't agree with you on anything. Defensible album with many of those useless modern sounds. The Duran worth remembering are those from Rio. Then a few songs here and there.

Well, Mien Rio was the real masterpiece (I happened to be listening to it in the car). A great new wave album with tracks like New Religion, Rio, Save a Prayer, The Chauffeur, Hungry Like the Wolf, and really all of them. The first one isn’t much, in my opinion, aside from Planet Earth and Careless Memories. After Rio, just a few nice songs here and there, with Ordinary World standing out. I can't say which of the two bands was better. Both had some nice little tunes.

I remember the stolen car, and it wasn't bad. However, I find it quite monotonous in general.
British Sea Power Do You Like Rock Music?

I happened to listen to a few singles, but I find them terrible. I stopped back at the times of the Manchester sound.

Sorry, but why did you give it four stars like any other record?

Well, I agree that Spandau Ballet has made some great songs (Through the Barricades above all, but also Gold and True), but an ’80s cover album by Hadley seems a bit much to me. Anyway, I don’t know the album. Maybe if I find it at a second-hand market, I’ll buy it. But which Duran Duran song coined the term "new romantic," excuse me?

I want love was a great single. The rest is actually a bit of a bore. The subsequent albums are nicer.

I like how you write because you are simple and clear.

Aside from the Waterboys, we don't have many tastes in common (neither Cars, nor Asia, nor Adam & the Ants). Anyway, reading your reviews is always a pleasure.
