Well, I know the genre pretty well. I particularly like Malin (Glitter in the gutter especially) and Marah. I’ll try to buy the album you recommended. I just saw Nile and Marah in Como with Willie Nile... what a nice evening. I saw Lucero in Pavia (good but a bit repetitive). Whiskeytown... well, well.

Who knows what punk has to do with Italian singer-songwriter music... who knows... those who know a little about classic singer-songwriters, but not too much, know that this album is a great album (even though the lyrics are a bit simplistic). These are people who grew up with the best Dalla. People who, at least in their early days, show that they have learned well.

A great album. "Stadio," "La faccia delle donne," and "Canzoni alla radio" are great albums. The next three aren't bad either, but they don't reach the level of the first three. Then they became repetitive and sugary, although every now and then Curreri still writes a nice song ("Sorprendimi," for example).
