...the evil of our country is the mafia. "Good laws" are useless if in the most disadvantaged regions there is a State within the State...great Saviano...

I saw TTD live many years ago in Sonoria. Truly a stage animal. However, I remember this album as rather bland. Maybe I'll listen to it again.

Well, I wouldn't overthink it too much. Saviano, as he mentioned in the interview, achieved his goal, which is to raise awareness among as many people as possible. He transformed the problem from a provincial/semi-national issue to a global one. Even if he became wealthy, what can a condemned man do with money? Many have profited from it—exploited? That's the price we have to pay for visibility. Saviano, who put his face on the line, uses the power of the most important media very effectively (that is for noble purposes, which almost never happens). Honestly, discussing this seems a bit sterile to me, as mentioned above. In my opinion, he is a hero.

Beautiful. Much better than the Schism of Benvegnù soloist.

I never watch Che tempo che fa, not so much for the quality of the show but because of a strong personal dislike for the host. I watched it the other evening only because Saviano was there. A guy who is doing so much for our beautiful country and for us. A great.

What a drag
Francesco De Gregori Le Origini
Voto:
Well, a collection by De Gregori makes sense. The songs are, I would say, always "disconnected" from each other. I seem to remember that he tried to come close to the concept album only with Titanic and, in any case, only with a few songs. It's certainly not like Banco or Le Orme, to stay in Italy.

In my opinion, De Gregori has always made dignified albums. The downward trajectory has been much less pronounced compared to that of other great singer-songwriters like Daniele or Dalla, as well as some lesser-known artists. I think he has always been fairly honest, even if the best things are obviously from the '70s. After that, there are a few gems here and there like La Leva Calcistica della classe '68 or La valigia dell' attore.

I think I’ll go to the Magnolia because I’m curious to know who Bartleboom is. Terry, looking at your photo, you’re not really that punk. But why do you call yourself 00? Do you have to score a goal? I don’t understand. Sorry for the somewhat silly questions, but I’m on my second whisky.
