I listened to it yesterday after reading your review. I have to admit that I prefer it to the Iceage album, even though it’s very, very derivative. In a way, nothing new, but still a nice piece of work.

I haven't listened to it yet, but it inspires me, so I'm getting it. Great review, short and concise, just the way I like it.

I would also compliment you dear TSTW, both for the brevity of the review and for the choice of the band, but that unnecessary curse made me change my mind. Anyway, this album by Marnero is stunning, I was very impressed (lyrics and music are excellent). Thank you for recommending them and next time no curses, come on...!

Well, it might not be a masterpiece, but I liked it. Catchy and fresh, every time I listen to it (I admit, it's been months since I last did) I get the urge for Australia, the ocean, surfing, summer. A somewhat didactic review perhaps, but I still say good job! :)

I woke up in a good mood today, so I won’t write down what I thought as soon as I read the review. But the fact remains that this garbage should be checked a little more and discarded to make room for those who truly have something intelligent to say.

Horrible...

Spectacular. Intense and immense. An album that tears your guts out and rips your heart apart. Five stars guaranteed for them and also for the review, which is a pleasure to read and flows effortlessly. Well done ZeroKanada and well done Deafheaven!

I pass by here by chance, precisely because today I decided to dust off this marvel. Well, there's nothing to say; it’s one of the highest points ever reached by music. Sublime, ethereal, dreamy, you listen to it and it takes away all the pain, the boredom, the anger you've been carrying. And the cover image is one of the most intense and evocative I've ever seen. Thank you Jonsi for this cd, the world needed it and everyone should listen to it at least once in their life. It purifies the soul.

One of the great surprises of this year. I didn't expect anything good from them anymore after two mediocre albums ("Lullabies" too long and repetitive and "Era Vulgaris" too muddled). And instead, bam! A fantastic album! All the songs are excellent, music and lyrics perfectly blended together. In the end, there are two gems that surprise (to those up there who say there are no songs that make you jump out of your seat... well, I jumped with the last two tracks) and the rest is outstanding. A solid four, even for the review :)

Nice review, I found it intriguing and curious. I have to speak quite poorly about the album because it's too long, too repetitive, and inconsistent. I expected something better from him, I was disappointed. What a pity.
