But are there still Salentini in Salento? I thought they were all in Rome, in some faculty at La Sapienza.

@Nes. "No, gentlemen, the act of shoving a paintbrush into a vagina in front of dozens of people is not art in itself. Was Cicciolina also creating art?" So, beyond the debate about whether this is art or not (personally, I couldn't care less), the point is that you've put on the same level an artist who wanted to deliver a strong message in a certain historical period (debatable, exaggerated, shocking, whatever you want) and a porn star. What do you say, can you grasp the vaguely racist nonsense in your statement by yourself, or do we need to draw you some pictures? :)

Ezekiel, I don't give a damn about how right or wrong your opinions are. I just can't stand that you think you have more right than others to speak based on your life experience, which you place on a higher level than that of others. I don’t understand where it’s written that it should be this way. You think you've reached some kind of truth, but yours is just one experience among many, and that's it. Above all, your words reveal a fear of the future and of life that is something abhorrent. You see, if you had a less aggressive attitude, if you didn’t constantly seek validation through provocation, if you didn’t find refuge in male affirmation, and especially if you would allow yourself to be insecure about something (instead of thinking that insecure = soft), you would be a person easy to talk to, and maybe you would realize that we are all more or less in the same boat, and that measuring your dick to establish who is the best is pointless, because the truth is that we all suffer, we all enjoy, and sooner or later we all inevitably die. Regards.

Ezekiel, since you don’t understand, let me rephrase: you think you’re someone special, but you’re just one of the billions of tough guys from the suburbs, the usual mix of honor and punches supported by street life that has become so trendy lately. What you have isn’t a realization; it's just a trick to create a comfortable identity that you can wear in no time. If there’s a cultural crisis, it’s not the fault of the gays but of people like you, who build their ethics on base instincts dressed up as some kind of ideology, without any awareness of the complexity of the world around them. Forget about street life; the truth is you can’t even grasp how the world works. You talk about a hard life, but you’re quite comfortable within the confines of your little neighborhood. You know full well that outside of that, there are different rules, different ethics that you don’t know and don’t understand, and you would last less than a second in the midst of those, so it’s better to stay inside where you already know the rules, and why would you bother to challenge yourself? Especially since you have a ready-made character to exploit within reach, that of the masculine and experienced man, with whom you can identify and act tough on the streets. Am I talking nonsense? Now if you want to hit me, go ahead; after all, I’m a bit weak physically and usually end up on the ground between the first and second pizza that gets thrown at me. Am I gay too?

Ezzecchie', you want to play the role of the tough and pure borgataro who has understood everything about life and gives lessons to the idiots, that "street" guy who talks like he eats but is smarter and quicker than the rest. But you’ve missed one thing: the world is not limited to the outskirts of your city; there are people who are born and raised in different contexts that are not necessarily WORSE, and who CAN'T think like you. You despise anyone who hasn't lived your same life, and you don't care about everything they say because you’ve already decided it’s shit. And it’s useless for you to say this is an “exchange of opinions” because what you say you present as absolute truth, and when someone dares to comment, you talk about fists. It’s not that you reason better than others just because you live in the outskirts and fight, you know?

But in fact "grunge" is not a musical style; it's a temporal and geographical definition that refers to the rock bands that emerged in the early '90s from the Seattle scene. So saying that only Nirvana is "grunge" doesn't make any sense at all. The fact that the term "grunge" has become synonymous with "minimalist music featuring distorted guitars and rambling depressed lyrics" is due to the ignorance of the audience, which, as Cornell rightly pointed out in point 1 of his review.

Ezekiel. I would like to know where your conviction comes from that you reason better than others. Because one can feel superior to those around him, but he must have evidence to think so; he can't just tell himself that. See, I believe that underneath your reasoning lies nothing but the classic old desire to celebrate "p****" and the role of the "true and dominant man," as tradition dictates. The funny thing is that those who act this way are often the ones who have taken the worst blows to the face from women in life, unable to compromise, and who have never truly confronted a woman in the truest sense of the word. I know quite a few, and curiously, they all strive in vain to hide their intolerance for gay and lesbian people behind more or less fantastical arguments. They’re cookie-cutter examples. Moreover, I find it annoying to insinuate that work is the cure for all ills, and to tell anyone who thinks differently to get lost, based on the false myth of the working man who "knows how to make a living." I don’t know how much you work, but be careful about competing over who works more: it’s not very smart, because there will always be someone who works more than you, no matter how you look at it. The old game of "I’m worse off than you, so I’m better" doesn’t work: there’s always someone worse off. Here too, you’re just building your pride on something you already do; easy, right? If you were a student, you would have told everyone to get lost, claiming you study more than the others; if you were a billionaire entrepreneur, you would have said you’re better than the rest because you made it on your own. Do you understand? It’s all too relative to be taken seriously. The only certain thing that we have proof of is your arrogance.

"Varg was a genius for black metal, PERIOD. He also inspired two entire genres (ambient black metal and depressive black metal)." Oh my God, what a laugh, guys... Now I'm going to make an album of guitars, burps, and farts, and in 5-6 years you'll see that some little kid on some forum will be ready to draw his sword and say, "Stoney is a genius, PERIOD. He inspired an entire genre, Fart Metal." You are a completely messed up generation; they've managed to sell you a shallow identity with worthless definitions. Wake up.
