Jovanotti Safari

The most DECENT album by Jovanotti?????? What am I forced to hear! And what about "L'Albero"? And "Buon Sangue"? And "Lorenzo 1994"? Don't you think there's a difference not only in quality but also in compositions between these and the aforementioned?

@Cornell: 1) But as far as I know, Bluvertigo have always claimed to have had various sources of inspiration, although I don’t see the name of that good KC guy in the credits of "Metallo Non Metallo"... probably because, at least according to my ear, there’s no real theft, just a similarity in style; 2) "Oh but a trip to the hairdresser, never huh?" Well, if he did, he wouldn't be called Caparezza (Curly Head)... XD

@mushroom: I think he is much more skilled than people believe. If you feel pity for him, that's your opinion, but the success he has is, in my view, deserved. He has managed to rebuild himself "from scratch," after the Mikimix era. It's a shame that sometimes he doesn't go all in, like during the boom of "Fuori Dal Tunnel" (see the MTV instrumentalization of that song, later contested by Salvemini himself)...

I enjoyed it a lot instead... and then there’s "Inno Verdano," which is absolutely hilarious!
Faust'o J'accuse... Amore Mio

It's the album with which I started getting to know Faust'O, especially thanks to "Hotel Plaza." I'm listening to it again right now... wow, I like it more than before! Those sounds get into your heart and never leave... they're "hard" to understand, but little by little they leave their indelible mark. So far, I'm particularly fond of the metallic title track, the aforementioned "Hotel Plaza," and "Non Vendere I Nostri Sogni."

"Diabaram" has accompanied me for a long time... as a kid, I was crazy about this record and "Heartbeat"... then I lost track of Sakamoto for a while. Now, however, I'm deciding to get "Neo Geo".

Strangely, when it comes to the DT, everyone talks about the "usual suspects" and no one mentions "When Dream And Day Unite"...

I really appreciate Mafalda and I'm not familiar with this book. I will have to read it...

Brat, I wasn't insulting you. I was simply expressing my shame about the fact that on the DeB homepage you see reviews that are written: in a totally random way (see DEMIAN), by people who can't go beyond prog (Splinter) and useless copies (luckily there are useful copies, but this isn't the case; I hope Anatas doesn't take it personally, as he also wrote "what the hell am I writing this for"). Not to mention certain fakes that are around, which have really become a nuisance. This is what is ruining DeBaser.
