The album arrived a couple of weeks ago. I still need to form a precise opinion. @Alia: I'm surprised to read that you don't have much admiration for "Diamonds & Pearls"... for me, it’s one of the best albums from the post-"Lovesexy" period...

Don't hold it against me, but this review is among the biggest ramblings I've read in recent months on DeB, a contributor, beyond the harsh criticism, to the sanitized necrophilia that so prominently thrives in a certain part of Italy. So, 1. I'm sorry, but I have to give it to you. Moreover, it's too easy to say that Jackson (whom I've never loved to madness, not even now that he’s been killed) is the supreme anti-music when one has never heard (I’m not talking about you) the various Carta-A.Amoroso-latestVasco-Emix-D- Lewis-latestClubDogo-JAxwhoDestroys PinoDaniele-etc. etc. A scroll like yours, in its essence, reminds me too much of statements made by a famous musician from the South (I can't name names) when he told me, during a conversation some months ago, that Marlene Kuntz and CCCP are the antechamber of leftist music (this said, by the way, without considering that the Marlene are apolitical). The same level of nonsense, transcending any personal taste.

It's too easy to say that U2 are the scum of the scum of the scum etc. etc. etc., probably only based on how they have become today. They had a glorious past. That said, this song has never excited me, unlike the studio albums released in the same decade...

I see there's another person who likes Buonocore here... :) I miss this album, but since I have almost everything on vinyl and CD (except for "Yaya," for which I fear there's almost nothing to be done...) I guess it might not be needed, with all the respect I have for Nino.

Doctor, you can tell me to go to hell as much as you want, but honestly, on an album like "Studentessi," tracks like "Parco Sempione" (video aside) or "Tristezza" are, in my opinion, below the high quality standard (which is generally very high) of the Elii. I prefer "Suicidio A Sorpresa" or "Ignudi Tra I Nudisti," which are true flashes of genius.

They are always good, but it must be said that lately they are wavering in terms of creativity. "Studentessi" turned out to be a disappointing album, although sufficient. The single from this "Gattini" is quite cute, instead...
