Enrico Ruggeri Gli occhi del musicista
Voto:
I really liked Ruggeri's "Peter Pan" and "La Parola Ai Testimoni," and liked "Domani È Un Altro Giorno" a bit less. Overall, he is good as a singer. Moreover, I believe his partner Andrea Mirò has also done some very, very good work.
Lucio Dalla Il Giorno Aveva Cinque Teste

In my opinion, an absolute masterpiece alongside the other two works with Roversi. That was Dalla with the attributes.

Well...some songs are nice, others forgettable. Pezzali can disappear for all I care right now.
Courtney Love America's Sweetheart

Disappointing album. Not bad, but not a masterpiece either. The times of Hole are now far behind...even though I quite like Courtney.

"almost entirely lacking in VERB, with the presumption of being so-called singer-songwriter-alternative music." Not that Consoli is "the savior of music," eh... but could you explain what you mean by "absence of verb"? The fact of not being "what we expected" in terms of music?

"You are comparing a LOCAL phenomenon to world STARS"... when you say world STARS, do you mean those Spears, Lavigne that I mentioned? They are NOT singers, and their music is NOT music. Or were you talking about Morrissette? I repeat that, in my opinion, she has sold out. Consoli is not exactly a pop singer, just as she hasn't exactly (been) a rocker unlike others, but when I said "a way to try to find an alternative to certain Pausinian, Morissettian, Spearsian, and Lavignian waves of the time," I meant to say that Consoli was and is a thousand times better than the various "Baby One More Time," "Complicated," and indeed the nonsense of Morrissette after "Supposed"... Well, even here it’s too easy of an argument."

Edit: I meant to say "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie."

Tom, I personally find Morrissette after "Supposed Infatuary..." equivalent to shooting up two doses of chloroform...

@Luigi89: currently yes. @Blackdog: come on, not Morissette...the first album is nice, the rest is trash, apart from a couple of songs from the second one! It’s not even remotely comparable to Consoli, whom I called a "rocker" because she had a bit of anger in some songs from her first three albums, even if the female rockers are others...I don't know if you know Valentina Lupi... @Trickykid: Personally, I think her success was quite deserved, a way to try to find an alternative to certain waves of Pausini, Morissette, Spears, Lavigne of the time (even though it’s too easy to say…). Also, I don't believe there were "cunning marketing strategies and careful production (and poppiness)". Anyway, don’t worry that Consoli is not my favorite singer even though I like her; I prefer Cristina Donà, or Ginevra Di Marco (way too underrated).

Still for Canenero: Unless it was a way to say "Rocker la Consoli? At this point, long live Courtney"... then I must have misunderstood. Anyway, for me, la Consoli was a rocker, then she changed, but in my opinion, for the better... not like Ligabue, who went from rocker to a lousy popstar!
