Carla Bruni No Promises
Voto:
Carla Bruni WHORE? JUST SHUT UP. As for the rest, I'm disappointed; the first album wasn't too bad. Lucky Sarkozy...

But why is it that every time Italian music struggles to take off, everyone blames the Baustelle?

Oops, I meant to say "It's a comparison" without "state," but I guess I'm just sleepy. Good night, everyone...

The 2008 "Karma Police" was a very interesting comparison; otherwise I would have elaborated more to write the review. The album is a masterpiece, and I will never stop saying it. @BananaCrusher: For that matter, I can't stand Amalia Gré (to stick with the """nostalgic""" theme as you say), yet I don't go around saying she's a phony! Anyway, I imagine the usual know-it-alls will show up ready to say "Baustelle in miniera" and similar nonsense... guys, the world is beautiful because it's diverse!
Dream Theater When Dream and Day Unite
Voto:
Splinter, look, the fall of the Berlin Wall is more important, IN GENERAL, than the release of this CD, which I still consider one of the best works of Dream Theater. One thing, though, to everyone: as has already been said, let's not reduce Debaser to a site specialized only in reviews of DT... otherwise, we’ll end up getting on someone's nerves! (I think) Instead, for Valerio Schifoli and Starblazer, just withdraw from Debaser! The first for his unlikability and arrogance, the second for his ignorance. Worse than Stoney, whom I'm ready to quote this time.
Rhapsody Legendary Tales
Voto:
Ah, by the way, putting Rhapsody as a national anthem for who knows what is an exaggeration.
Rhapsody Legendary Tales
Voto:
Perhaps the best album of a band that would gradually reach its ultimate decline. For those who don't understand why we take issue with the band's lyrics: to me, it seems that in Turilli's world, there are only legendary heroes, fire-breathing dragons, and magical creatures of the woods... come on, Luca, get your feet back on the ground! I'm not saying to stop writing lyrics like that, but at least have VARIETY! That's what has always been lacking in Rhapsody (of Fire, currently) lyrics! And that's a real shame, because up until "Power of the Dragonflame" (I exclude the poor EP "Rain of a Thousand Flames," of which I only save the title track), they are all good albums, but the rating doesn’t go beyond a 4 for the reasons mentioned above. Anyway, "Lord of the Thunder" is one of my favorite Rhapsody songs...
Lucio Battisti Una giornata uggiosa
Voto:
"Satanism from a village feast that makes the chickens laugh, combined with circus shows like Kiss!" Valerio, do you know Mayhem? (I can't stand them) If you have the guts, listen to them and we’ll see who’s more satanic between them and the Maiden (are they satanists? Yes, and I’m Barack Obama!)... ah, anyway, a beautiful album from our Battisti!
Finley Tutto è possibile
Voto:
@bonny91: I wouldn't call it sadness, but rather acceptable or unacceptable change for us. Back when there were the CCCP, Ferretti sang the wonderful "Madre," which earned the CCCP a feature in a magazine called "Famiglia Cristiana"... personally, I preferred that era even though Ferretti remains one of my favorite Italian singers, as opposed to Finley.
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos
Voto:
Ah, good album, definitely superior to "Octavarium" and "Train of Thought" (I'm afraid I got the title wrong)...
