Claudio Baglioni Oltre (Cd1-Cd2)
Voto:
This work isn't bad. Perhaps the best of the latest Baglioni, despite some flaws in the lyrics, as Primiballi mentioned.

This is to make it clear to some that there are worse shots fired around here than mine... like this one.

Gummo, isn't it the case that with nonsense like yours you should be out tilling the soil?

Gummo, among the top three, do you also include "Smells Like Children"? I don’t count that one, it seems insignificant to me aside from the three covers, which are wonderful.

@Galakordi: (replying to the last sentence about the cocky poser) In theory, I couldn't care less... (replying to the first question) Anyway, I got it, I know that the two figures being compared are different and I explained everything earlier. Don't hate me :D

Okay, now I understand. Your argument is flawless, and in fact, when I was comparing Mayhem and Dimmu, I simply meant to say that the genesis (the early ones) didn't appeal to me unlike what the very first Dimmu did later on... ;)

It's not that I shot them down completely; when I referred to Mayhem as nobodies, I meant as people... rather, I should specify that I'm part of that group of people who don't like the music they've made (not to mention what they're doing now). As for thrash, I also don't like Slayer, not so much because they are extreme (well, I prefer them to grindcore sounds, but it's still a matter of different genres), but because they don't attract me, except for three pretty great albums: "Reign In Blood," "South Of Heaven," and "Seasons In The Abyss." On the other hand, Lombardo with Fantomas kicks ass, and Araya did well as a little guest star in "Dirt" by Alice In Chains... p.s. I don't know why, but "Stormblast" by Dimmu doesn't say anything to me... :/ p.p.s. It's very true that Bathory made thrash; it was precisely a chapter of the '90s that I wanted to specify!

I feel generous tonight and won't rate the review. However, I am among those who are amazed to read that "The Wall" is overrated. For me, it's their last masterpiece...before the decline.
