@ghemison and zion: I think ghemison is right, maybe I wasn't passionate about Tosca precisely because of this tendency towards dance. However, I've heard some of their recent works that don't seem to be that great based on what you say... I might change my mind, perhaps, if I listen to some of their older stuff. I really enjoy Cinematic Orchestra (I've also heard Every Day, zion, amazing!) I love Thievery Corporation, I like De Phazz, Air.... not Royksopp though, for example, I find them dry. And of course Massive Attack, particularly Protection and Mezzanine. If you've more or less understood my tastes, maybe you could recommend something else :-) .... I feel a bit like a jerk for having only given this album a 4, it's actually a unique and special work in its genre. I'll make up for it!

Beautiful Zion and the disco really. I don't like Tosca.
Radiohead In Rainbows

Well, Easy, if Radiohead have to retire, then U2 might as well shoot themselves! :-) Personally, I'm not disappointed because I wasn't expecting a new genius masterpiece; maybe you were... Let's move on, okay, but it's not easy to hang in there for years and years... I think you had too many expectations; you expected too much.

excellent review, one of those precise and comprehensive ones that scan the album... I practically share all your impressions, which come from an objective analysis of the work rather than the ramblings of a die-hard fan. the album convinced me, I like it, exceptional 15 step, bodysnatcher, weird fishes/arpeggi and house of cards... I'm less convinced by nude and reckoner, but that can be remedied. maybe the experimental vein has faded, but the class certainly remains, and then the Radiohead have done their part; the important thing is that they maintain a certain level, and here it is high.

I would like to know from the Punisher which are the latest films that have reinvented cinema... I beg you to answer me! But there's no justice, Puni, they've been calling me 40 for years here, when you're from '64, while they’ve been calling me 40 since I was still 37, goodness!!! Oh how nice, Poletti quoted me without knowing it; he doesn't go in the music reviews so...

supersoul, condemning this type of films does not mean being prude; I honestly don't understand what that has to do with it... I detest these kinds of films for reasons strictly related to my personal taste and my idea of cinema... I love escapist cinema, you know? But the kind made with criteria and good taste. I'm sorry if you disagree, but I don't see how it connects to prudery or some form of moralism. My criticism of this film is entirely legitimate without having to be labeled as a pious moralist.

the right title is Meurglys III....an album that is pleasant to listen to but without particular emotions...going for the one is not even remotely comparable to close to the edge.
