Flinstone, I find certain things enjoyable that some of my friends find horrifying. They find the krautrock of Faust, Sister Ray by the Velvet Underground, to name a couple of examples, absolutely dreadful, whereas for me it's a delight to listen to them. Just imagine if they listened to this album or maybe Royal Trux or Captain Beefheart, or John Zorn!! They can't stand music made 30 years ago; for them, it's too much!!! The reason is simple in their case: they only listen to mainstream stuff, and for them, being alternative means listening to Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin. It’s all about training the ear to other types of sounds, gradually, and it's not guaranteed that one will end up liking a certain type of music. Sounds are perceived differently and subjectively, of course. Personally, I find those cheesy disco tunes or certain cheap punk to be noise... certainly not Royal Trux or My Bloody Valentine, which, for my friends, are just noise, plain and simple.

So what the hell are you always doing everywhere sticking your nose in every discussion? Go do something else if we bore you and make your balls drop. If you're here talking to a psychologically fragile idiot like you say, it means you don’t have anything better to do either. You're to be pitied just like me.

The more I read the first part of the review, the more I feel it's mine... sorry Pretty, but it’s true, you took the words right out of my mouth, as they say... but where can I find the album for sure??? I can’t find it on the friendly quadruped :-)
