just a moody comment, so I won't give ratings to avoid ruining the average. I’ve never tolerated it and for me, it's incredibly overrated. It's not my fault that when I was 11, I fished out from a basket of cassette tapes in an appliances store Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and it had the same effect on me as it did on you, Björk. Anyway, my tastes are worth as much as yours, and it’s always nice to get high on music. Bye.

Velvetgray because "or even McCartney"?...Hendrix, Clapton, and Beck are superior to McCartney in terms of compositions?

N I BII O come on.. "shitty" is a bad adjective and excessive but overhyped (like the other two bands you mentioned) compared to their actual worth, yes. If someone writes it about The Beatles, I can write it about R.E.M., for crying out loud! I haven't listened to this album and I won't.

Nothing to do, kid. Even if I wanted to help you with a thorough, cultured, reasoned review, maybe I would. But that's not the case for you. Change profession. At the very least, change group.

Instead of lounging around with your brainy university mates during your nights out, you would have been better off having some good sex. You’d be much more serene and happy by now. Not to mention, ultimately objective. Clearly, you are not culturally equipped to conduct a technical analysis of the ā€œpopā€ from the late 50s and 60s, limiting yourself to making the usual pathetic comparisons with Floyd, Hendrix, Stones (but didn’t the Beatles write their first hit for them?..). If you wanted to break away from the crowd and make up for those idle university nights, all you had to do was say that you don’t like the Beatles. You would have spared yourself this gross figure of ignorance.
