Sold, damn it. I have a friend who, before getting to know Soundgarden and Audioslave (another crap compared to the "originals" Rageetc. & Soundgarden), heard this musical abortion and tried to convince me it was worth it. I'd rather listen to the Pussycat Dolls for life. Especially the videos :-) Cornell, you bastard, may the Soundgarden all go up your ass. Selfish and hypocritical. These musicians who deny everything and switch to pop just like that have ruined it. Ugh!

Nice review. I just don't like it when you label grunge as the (among other things also unique) genre. Not a bad album, though it’s more enjoyable after several listens. Maybe this is what you're missing, Skeletron.

Damn, forgive the horror of the h in front of the a... awful. And I’m graduating in Modern Literature :-). I need to stop posting at two in the morning. @Panico: You should have held out and listened to it all, huh... I know those bands you mentioned pretty well and I really appreciate them (except for Trouble, but I’ll make up for that), but I still consider Superfreak a good product. Maybe precisely because it’s simple but at the same time of quality. The goatsnake are the best among all the new bands I've listened to recently.

I know the book and consider it essential in any respectable bookstore. The review is too visionary for my taste. Wallace, however, deserves a little more punch in terms of details and information. In my opinion, just to be clear.

'Azzo Panico, have you listened to this Superfreak or something else but still them? This, to me, is quite enjoyable. Especially the sounds compared to previous albums. Bah... De gustibus. Maybe I’m just too stuck on everything that comes off as stoner. Indie because Meteor City is an independent label ;-) @Jurix: but the drummer-singer only existed at the beginning of the band. @Editors: heartfelt thanks for accommodating me with the layout.
