Welcome back, have you resurrected the old nickname?

However, they haven't sent me any private messages; I feel excluded :( In return, they commented on one of my reviews to drop their one star, typical of human cases!

No Bartle, what are you talking about? I'm not really into thrash, but I imagine others might be. For my own interests, I would always prefer if you suggested things like Witchcraft, Saint Vitus, Hypnos69, or Colour Haze (a band I got to know thanks to one of your pages), but it's still all solid gold.

I found it never difficult, in fact I read it in one go despite my disinterest in the subject matter. I was hoping you would review something stoner/psychedelia, but I'll make do :D

I listened and I agree, great album, by the way not soporific like other jazz-prog stuff.

Yes, it’s possible that you’re not wrong upon closer inspection. However, I do see the Mogwai as somewhat overflowing and liquefied in certain situations. In any case, as soon as I’m more awake, I’ll retrieve that little page of yours and maybe even the related album. (Did I really edit you? I don’t remember. But I definitely didn’t know you well back then; being so sensitive as you are, I’d be scared right now!) P.S. But I’m lazy, and then ideas are scarce... Anyway, you know I would review one of those things with lots of beautiful violins and flutes that you like so much :D Why don’t you do one instead, since with this drought we need a bit of water.

@azzo, as an absolute novice, I ask you: what about the Mogwai? They don't seem that geometric to me. The same goes for Godspeed.

Since you’re asking, I would suggest removing all those unnecessary and colloquial expressions like the first and last lines, or phrases like "Now I'll try to express my opinion by analyzing the tracks more deeply." Reviews that describe songs one by one end up being boring, repetitive, and ultimately also useless. It’s much better (but more challenging) to describe only a few of the most representative pieces, trying to fit them into a broader and more articulate discourse. The result will be a slimmer, more essential, and surely more enjoyable and impactful review. You have some issues with punctuation: by rereading the review a couple of times before sending it, you should notice for yourself that not all commas are in the right place and that some of them should be replaced with a period or a colon.

Finally, some truly interesting and well-written proposals amid the Ferragosto grayness of deBaser.
