<<Given that onanism is the main characteristic of prog, I imagine that its listeners also do not "calculate" others>> This is not true, unless they are making idiotic and deliberately polemical comments. I certainly won't be the one to judge you poorly for not liking prog!

<<I'm not referring to you, OleEinar, I'm speaking in general>> then okay, I don't know much about music but I try to judge with my own mind. I can agree that more humble and less redundant might be true. However, I don't share the view that it’s more inspired, but I respect your opinion. Just to get an idea, what do you like about prog, Larrok?

@ajeje, I'm a fan of prog but I agree with you on the Alphataurus album ;) @manliuzzo, when you can, "Red" is a must-have original!

oh my god half alone "In The Land..." help!! You may not like it but half alone... okay! I listened to this album once a long time ago and I remember it didn't really impress me. Sooner or later I will have to listen to it again.

Well, I share your opinion about Anderson’s voice—it's perfect in this context. The only thing I can admit is that it might be irritating for some, but that's just a matter of taste. Honestly, I don’t remember having heard many voices like this one. Maybe it’s because I know little music. @Larrok, I had never heard this one before: Yes Album, while beautiful, is still a very immature record, hardly comparable to the two that follow. This one, in particular, is for me the most paradigmatic album of all prog (which doesn’t mean it's the most beautiful or the most important, just to be clear).
