@47, well, as an "external observer" to the debate, it seems to me that there are indeed some comments along the lines of "what I say is absolute truth and if you think differently, you don't understand a damn thing" on this page, mainly from those who criticize this group. Despite the fact that fans of progressive metal (and often also just progressive...) here on DeBaser are always accused of being closed-minded and not accepting criticism. P.S. I know little about the genre in question, and what little I do know I don't particularly love (but nor do I hate it).

@Riccardo, you're right, but it's the aura of superiority that occasionally emanates from your comments that is annoying, the tendency to impose your tastes/opinions as an absolute and incontrovertible criterion of judgment (not just in this review). While we agree that your tastes are unassailable, this doesn’t mean that everything you don’t appreciate is crap, nor that anyone expressing opinions different from yours is necessarily ignorant. I don't want to open a pointless debate; I just wanted to point out an attitude that I think is a bit excessive, which I'm sure you could "tone down" without too much effort, but it’s up to you. Moreover, I believe this would benefit the conversation and the possibility of sharing your musical culture with others. Bye!
