@manliuzzo, if you like the bank, I would definitely give a listen to "Zarathustra" by the Museo Rosenbach; it's a masterpiece.

Ys del Balletto delivers a vocal performance that's not quite up to par (and the lyrics are rather pretentious), but everything else is quite impressive. As for Biglietto, the self-titled album is, in my opinion, nothing less than a monumental masterpiece of hard-prog, second only to Zarathustra by Museo in the lesser Italian prog genre. Nevertheless, there are plenty of lovely things out there, without always having to shout masterpiece. Like the Jumbo (shall we talk about the wonderful "Suite per il Sig. K"?), or even the Semiramis by a certain Michele Zarrillo (...), or "Inferno" by Metamorfosi, and many others.

Another 5 for our Nero, in full creative phase. I reiterate my request as a metal fasting: is there any must-have album from this band?

At the daily endless rehearsal sessions, everyone brought something from home. A bass line, a guitar riff, a homemade distortion pedal, cymbals (for the drums), cookies (for tea). One day, Karaghiosoff brought an enormous collage made on the back of a movie poster, on which he had composed a poem by cutting out words from various magazines. Some eighth-note pauses provided breathing instructions, and at the end of the text, a mysterious figure appeared, dressed in medieval armor and with a feather on the helmet, standing by a well. Perhaps, going beyond the author's own intentions, everyone present associated that figure with "Picchio dal Pozzo," as if it were the first and last name of a noble knight. The poem was recorded that very day, entrusted to a friend who was attending the rehearsals, Cristina Pomarici, and then during mixing, it was included in the track Rusf. (www.picchiodalpozzo.com)

I'm re-listening to the self-titled album and these guys are really out there like a balcony :-) In certain tracks, you can hear the influence of Viatti (especially in the vocal experiments), but it's all done in a more playful and absolutely extravagant way, I would even say delirious :-) @manliuzzo, <<some bands make conventional progressive music but without having the ability>>, like?

@iscariota had ordered a record but they pressed another one, if I understood correctly. It happened to me recently with Lisa Germano, the cover and printing on the CD of "Geek The Girl," but inside it was pressed "Slide"... quite annoying...

Damn, are you in a creative mood? How many are you sending??? Anyway, super fun. We've talked enough about Turbo, indeed :D In any case, from the heights of my immense ignorance in the metal field (and if only it were just that...) I’ve never even heard of these Saxon... Is there any must-have album that I really should get? Anyway, it’s funny to see how mad metalheads get when you touch on some junk from their favorite band :-)))
