@Alphy, it's obvious that one doesn't expect a Manzonian writing, but if a review is written in good Italian, in my opinion, it's more readable. Anyway, nothing serious :-) @CJBS, it was indeed a review of the Buon Vecchio, if I'm not mistaken, and if I remember correctly you had already mentioned this to me. What can I say? De Gustibus! Let's say that in this album the voice doesn't excite me but it doesn't disturb me either, while Benson's vocal parts in the Buon Vecchio are, in my opinion, absolutely unbearable (not to mention the childish lyrics). However, I must say that the rest of the album is also quite good. @Jake, I don't know Perigeo (serious gap on my part), so I can't tell you. But I'm not talking about delirious lyrics (for that, listen to Picchio dal Pozzo and then we can talk :D), but rather about nonsensical and ridiculous lyrics (one could also mention the famous album by Balletto di Bronzo, in this regard...). Anyway, not all of them are like that, just to be clear.

Nice review and especially a very interesting proposal. It seems to me that it’s best to go with "Cruel Sister" for a first approach.

I just bow down. As soon as I have a bit of time, I'll take a look at your reviews and slip a few among my recommendations.

@JakeChambers, Italian progressive is a surprisingly vast universe. Beyond the 3-4 most famous bands, there is a rich underground that deserves to be explored. Unfortunately, the unlistenable nature of the vocal parts and the ridiculous pretentiousness of the lyrics in many cases do not encourage listening.

The review is undoubtedly better than the other one (not that it took much) and from a content perspective, it’s well done. Unfortunately, it’s written in a language that in some parts only vaguely resembles Italian. The album indeed deserves a listen, between 3 and 4 stars for me. However, Zarrillo is not the only one with a progressive past (Alan Sorrenti, Fossati with Delirium, even Matia Bazar originated from a progressive group, the J.e.t. of "Fede, speranza, Carità," to which Golzi, who came from Museo Rosenbach, joined).

The review, so controversial, I liked Bisius. Very heartfelt.

Well, I find it gaudy and a bit childish, very kitsch. In poor taste, to sum up. I definitely prefer a different kind of covers. In short, I don't like the cover for pretty much the same reason I don't like your review :-) I should clarify that I've never listened to the album and I only know "Sad Wings..." by Judas, which I also like, so I don't intend to question the value of Painkiller.

But one can also listen to liquefied crap, what talk. But don’t come and serve it to us as a masterpiece, though.
