Wonderful review. A quality HP like today's hasn't been seen in a while. The proposal seems intriguing to me. Progressive, folk, psychedelia: the 3 magic words…

Listen, should I listen to the Parisian Aes Dana or the ones from Palermo?

Yes, yes, I understood; I was talking about folk-metal in general. Well, I'll try to lend an ear to these Aes Dana, and if nothing else, I'll know that Celtic isn't for me ;-)

Beautiful. And the samples are beautiful too. I’ll try to find it.

@Punk/cla and @Vincent, yes I know you're right, I've listened to albums with growl or scream and some I liked, but to make me "digest" the singing musically they really have to be remarkable. Anyway, I did find some nice folk-metal albums with clean vocals back when I was into the genre, maybe Lumsk, or Otyg, or Storm, I can't remember well now, I should dust them off... No, I've never listened to Isis and Aes Dana, do you think I should give them a try? Thanks anyway!

Yeah, but damn, in just one post you mentioned 5 or 6 groups like it was nothing that I've never even heard of (apart from the Atomics)...

I expected it, Super, that the absence of the guitar wouldn’t please you. I’m a bit puzzled myself, to be honest, but that's exactly why I’m curious. After all, even Quatermass managed to create some rather convincing hard moments without guitars. The stadium chorus was actually meant to be a reference to the ending of the Kaleidoscope piece from which our reviewer took the name :-)
