Always intriguing suggestions from you. This one is quite interesting; maybe I'll try to fish them out.

After 4 reviews of this album in 2 weeks, your rich and accurate analysis is as useful as a refrigerator in the North Pole. But do you know that there are other ways to spend your time besides sending random reviews to DeBaser?

@francescobus: thanks, I believe the same goes for you :D I also read Bartle's review of the Widow (beautiful) and recently left a comment explaining why, in my opinion, "Sacrifice" is worth no more than 3 stars, while I consider "Sea Shanties" a phenomenal album with impressive power considering the year it was released (1969, a golden year for rock). Since many consider High Tide among the pioneers of heavy metal, I would even go so far as to say that their first album has a more devastating impact than much of the metal from the '80s (but I'm treading on shaky ground here given my very limited knowledge of metal). Best regards.

Oh my God, what do I have to read! The Black Widow are two or three good notches below the High Tide, there’s really no comparison for me. (Of course, I’m just kidding, Francescobus, don’t worry :D)

Well, you can always give him a "preventive" listen if you don't trust him ;-)
Hawkwind Hall of the Mountain Grill

To be honest, it seems to me that none of the reviews of Hawkwind on Deb ever mention Pink Floyd; frankly, I don't see all these affinities. Anyway, I believe their masterpiece can be found not among the studio albums but in the monumental live "Space Ritual," which is incredible. Moreover, their records are available at truly bargain prices, making them worth having.
