You're right, I didn't do my homework! My fault.

Honestly, I only know "Third" by the Softs. I need to explore more, although I think I would prefer the earlier albums compared to the post-Wyatt era. However, if you say that the guitar is a main feature, I might consider checking this out as well.

I'm sorry, but it seems that there are a few people here who, instead of rambling on about historical leaders and nonsense like that, would do well to brush up on the past 5 years of DeBaser's history.

Well, let's not exaggerate, they just don't drive me crazy.

Welcome, a bit of humility about DeB certainly doesn't hurt.

I'm listening to their first album again, but it still doesn't capture me that much. You're great as usual.
Grand Funk Railroad On Time

The problem is that Il_Paolo keeps mixing everything into the same pot of "minor music," the crap (the stuff he often reviews) alongside the chocolate (I Gran Funk as well as other bands he’s labeled "minor" in other comments). I don't know this album, but many tracks are on the Live album, which is really good. Schacher's bass tears down the walls; I would define it as a bit more than just "attentive."

"Fire and Water" is a great album, I will try to get my hands on it. Nice review, but too bad about the track by track.
