Exactly, but you forgot to mention that those 4 gold medals were won in the same edition of the Olympics (2002), a sporting achievement that has few equals in history. But it's only the pinnacle of an incredible career that has seen him win a total of 82 World Cup races (compared to 91 by Stenmark and "only" 55 by Tomba, just to make a comparison). Unfortunately, biathlon is a wonderful sport (and visually spectacular on television) that has no visibility in Italy, but it's a national sport in Germany and Norway, where state TV even broadcasts all the races live. Anyway, let's get back to the electrogenesis...

Not exactly a skier, he's a biathlete.

Yes, but which one do you prefer, Alessio? ;-)

@Paolo, don’t worry, it’s enough for me to stop listening to this garbage :-)

By trivial, I mean lacking originality and personality; it's always the same old tune, the same cloying and sugary atmospheres, artificially complex yet devoid of taste and balance. To me, it all sounds so "plastic" and fake, soulless (oh, sometimes that happened even in the '70s). These Genesis don’t seem to have anything more to say, perhaps just something to cash in. @biancoenero, no, it’s the name of a great athlete, moreover unknown in a country lacking a true sports culture like ours.

Hi Paolè. Just out of curiosity, I started listening to the first 2 tracks of this album (soulseek refused to download any more, disgusted) and some of the "best" electroGenesis tracks from the 80s that you listed, and they make me feel like I'm throwing flaming javelins: simple and gaudy pop, completely unlistenable for my tastes. Collins' voice is simply annoying (not that I was crazy about Pietro Gabriele either, to be honest). In short, it's a revolting piece of garbage for me; continuing to dedicate dozens of reviews to it seems as useful as a pair of high heels on the Marmolada glacier. Anyway, if you care that much, go ahead.

You've truly reached the limit of ridiculousness.

Oh, you say they have a preferential channel for Naples? :) I think it depends on whether they have the records available at the time of the order; I had actually requested some rather unusual items. Anyway, up there on cdbox they have practically everything, maybe on Amazon the prices are more competitive.

@psycho, clear blue sky, spirogyra, leaf hound, and fuzzy duck (the first 2 are missing on deb). All of this for the modest sum of 60 euros and change... and thank goodness they waived the shipping costs for me!! Then I also have Dando Shaft and Raw Material that need to be reviewed. Yes, Amazon takes months, but I've also tried with Italian distributors (cdbox) and it's not much better. Maybe the only option is to try directly with the producers; Repertoire from Germany took SIX days from order to delivery at home.
