Sting Mercury Falling

I correct myself (I do everything on my own), the atmosphere of "I Can't Stop..." cannot be described as sunny because the impression is that it is a melancholic song, even if not sad. The oxymoron of the title, after all, explains it already.

But is this a review? Certainly not of the album.
The Cranberries To The Faithfull Departed (The Complete Session 1996-1997)
Voto:
A fan's flattering review from which your young age can also be inferred. However, it's not badly written, so I won't give you a 1.
The album is good anyway; I've always appreciated the Cranberries, but to define it as hard rock is really out of place. Excluding the first two tracks, which are quite intense, the others are definitely softer.
Where it really falls short is in the lyrics, which are truly poor and cliché; "Salvation" seems written for elementary school kids, and the others are not any better.
Ligabue Nome e Cognome
Voto:
Well, you know, I think Ligabue expresses what you say better, not so much in his music, but in other things he does. For example, his latest poetry collection is definitely not a commercial product (with the unintentional flaw of seeming like it was written by a commercial artist). It happens to read critical comments about the fact that besides music, Ligabue also "annoys" with his films, books, and poetry, but instead, I believe it adds value to an artist who is not just for himself, but who also has the ability to venture (dignifiedly) into other artistic fields. Then again, tastes are tastes, and preferences are preferences! Ah, I'm masculine! ;)

I really liked this album; it’s not innovative by any means, but there are some very enjoyable tracks to listen to, and they’re also packed with a certain energy. And if it’s commercial, who cares? I didn't buy it! :D

I wanted to add: listen to the drum timing in "I Hung My Head," I tried but couldn't keep it, this gives an idea of the musicians' depth and the sophistication of the compositions. The mentioned sixth track "I'm so happy so I can't stop cryin'" seems very limiting to define it as a "summer song." Perhaps one of the lighter tracks but absolutely not trivial, notice how the sunny tone at the beginning tends to change as the song progresses, with tonalities shifting from major to minor. In "La Belle Dame Sans Regret," I didn't have the same impression as you; it seems to me that the singing in French remains a bit "cold."

Demian, the novel, didn't impress me much; I can hardly remember having read it. Where would the inspiration for the album come from? Probably it only relates to the eponymous track.

Well, I wanted to leave a review of my own too, but maybe I'll give up; in fact, there are already too many.

What a heavy brick this is :D beautiful floral arrangements but a bit weighty. I've had the album for a few weeks now but I haven't listened to it all the way through yet. It's definitely an unusual album, not commercial, with sharp contrasts between one track and the next. On the first listen, you don't know what to expect from the next piece.
