Joe Satriani Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards
Voto:
A good album, even though I don't think it will become one of my favorites by Satriani. Let's say I've listened to it a bit distractedly as background music at the office. I noticed how the beautiful "Wind in the Trees" has a sound that reminds me of some music by the Cure.

It seemed to me like the review of a fan who is afraid to express what he really thinks for fear of being bombarded by the wild criticism of the site’s community. A choice lacking courage and therefore doesn’t deserve more than a 2. The same goes for the album, which I didn’t like that much despite being a passionate historian; it’s a step back rather than a step forward. Nevertheless, I don’t shy away from willingly listening to it from time to time.
Bryan Adams Waking Up the Neighbours
Voto:
Horrible and embarrassing review. One of the worst I’ve ever read!
The album, on the other hand, is quite respectable, the best by Adams before the relentless artistic decline. Out of sentimental ties, I would gladly give it a 4, but I will settle for a more appropriate 3.
Biagio Antonacci Vicky Love...
Voto:
The review is well written, but I disagree with the impressions; I really don't see these "sexually charged texts," unless we exclude the first track, which is the only one that openly addresses sexuality. The arguments you present (refined fetish touch, rebellious thought against the arrogant ruling class, pastoral-countryside performances) and especially that "a concept centered on the various ways of knowing how to screw," if you allow me, is truly laughable and I see no other goal but this in the review. There are 11 tracks on the CD, and the vaguely sexual quotes can all be summed up in the few lines you transcribed. As far as I can understand in my musical ignorance, I find the album quite respectable, better than other albums by the same artist as it showcases some courageous choices with musically successful and not too banal episodes. It’s sad to think that an artist makes music solely to appear falsely “friendly” and sell his CDs. Is it really so impossible to think that Antonacci is just like that? Not exactly a musical or poetic genius, but still an ordinary person. I have no reason to believe otherwise. It seems to me that the reviews and comments on this site are merely a way to vent one’s frustrations and resentments (but I already knew that). Where I do agree with the review is on the hidden track; that final monologue is exceedingly embarrassing. An album that can surely still be rescued from the trash, if one wishes to.
Julien Duvivier Il Ritorno Di Don Camillo
Voto:
The films of Don Camillo are brilliant and amusing. They are works that, despite the changed social situation, do not feel the weight of the years like certain heavy films that do not go beyond their era and seem very old when you watch them. The first one is excellent, the second one is good, then they start to show some wear and tear, and the last ones are just a pale reflection of the first ones, but still enjoyable to watch for a quiet evening.
Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo, Massimo Venier Tre Uomini E Una Gamba

I agree with the review. The only downside, if we want to call it that, is that the film doesn't hold up to multiple viewings. After you've seen it a few times, you no longer feel like watching it again. The subsequent films of the trio, with the exception of "chiedimi se sono felice," which I find excellent, have never really appealed to me, especially "così è la vita," even though it has some good ideas and a few laughs.
Tiziano Ferro Alla Mia Età
Voto:
I think that almost everyone who voted 1 didn't even listen to the album. I can't stand Ferro either, but these judgments annoy me even more. The single isn't bad; I still haven't figured out the meaning, but it's catchy ("at my age?" as if he's 50! I found out he's actually the same age as me). Of course, I would never buy the album.

I've been thinking for a while about writing a review of this album. The review seems reasonably written, but it's definitely incomplete and the rating is too harsh. Among a collection of rather anonymous tracks, at least 2 or 3 respectable songs stand out that, even if they bring nothing new, are certainly very beautiful. Above all, "Broken Wings" and "Walk On By." As an old supporter of Bryan Adams, I am still disappointed with his recent releases.

More than a review, it seems like a simple summary of the plot that's a bit "homey." As for the film, I believe it's the movie I've watched the most in my life; I lost count many years ago, but we're talking about hundreds. I know it by heart, and it has never bored me. Clearly, it's a light film, and it should be taken for what it is.
Raf Sogni... è tutto quello che c'è

I've never heard this album, but if I had to choose one by Raf, I would definitely go for this one, just for the value of tracks like "Siamo Soli Nell'Immenso Vuoto Che C'è" & "Oggi Un Dio Non Ho."
