But did you know that maybe "Forever came today," released the year after this one and without the illustrious names, is perhaps (and I repeat perhaps) even more beautiful?

For me, the greatest Australian supergroup and the worst jailbirds remain the Beasts of Bourbon (leftovers from Scientists, Johnnys, Hoodoo Gurus).
Little Feat Feats Don't Fail Me Now

rightfully more current than the previous ones but IMO less aimed at that blend of boogie, country, gospel, New Orleans sounds that had characterized the previous masterpieces. Perhaps because Lowell George somewhat steps back compared to before, allowing the band to express itself and with Barrere highlighting the funky side also to take a look at the commercial aspect of the matter.

Sure, there's "The second wave" and on the cover instead of John Wayne, there's Robert Mitchum in the Battle of Midway, still Revenge stuff but this time selected by Rob Younger.

Anyway, it won’t be the most exceptional live in the mustachioed one's discography, but here there are some of the deadliest solos from Frankie.

What is there to say about someone who copies the title of a song to make a decent gangster movie with Andy Garcia There are people technically skilled enough to play instruments with a light-year's difference from what he’s doing, and then there are excitable guys who are really into it with their soul, body, and guts, to the point of being plausible characters in those songs that talk about lawyers, gunmen, gamblers, and whores. People who can write melodic ballads and at the same time hard-hitting rock pieces. People who can be both rhetorical and iconoclastic at the same time. For everyone else, there’s technique and a couple of balls to inflate the listener.

the mission to write about scandalously overlooked music on this site... The work of exposing... reaching 50 and then leaving... dismantling the human cases like Cobain or Jeffrey Lee Pierce ... !!!! Buddy you’re not well, you don’t even know where irony lives, the only advice I can give you is what Troisi tells Robertino in Ricomincio da tre... Get out of the house and touch some women!!!
