I join the 3 of encouragement. SANTANA is a caricature of himself. He has really gotten on my nerves. How boring.

You are attentive and precise. But also precise and attentive... What I mainly like about the record is the atmosphere.

No, Superboia is not serious. It’s an interesting document, though. For the reasons I’ve already mentioned in the review. It features the Beatles you wouldn’t expect, far removed from those of "Love Me Do" or "Strawberry Fields"... but if you already know them a bit, you can happily do without it.

I HATE this kind of reviews. But it was a protest... usually I'm too wordy and go into too much detail, but I see that the tone of the comments often disregards the technical aspects of the reviews. I agree that the cover is UGLY. But I don't really care. The project revolves mainly around BLUES, but in a much less direct way than in FROM THE CRADLE. Here it’s more enjoyable, less filled with that musical arrogance which, by the way, someone like EC can certainly afford. This CD contains top-class tracks, played by musicians who are incredibly talented, but without ever overdoing it. Overall, the listening experience gives me the same feeling I get when entering an old library full of ancient volumes that exude culture and history. A truly successful project, above the average of the works of the good mano lenta. THANKS for coming, anyway. Bye.

For once that someone with talent achieves success... all this hostility seems a bit unwarranted to me. Commercial? Who cares! What makes me laugh the most are those who claim he can't play. Just listen to what NUTI thinks of Allevi as a musician. Foolish.

Nothing to do with a review, but I rate the beautiful piece of literature. An use of allegories perhaps a bit redundant, but of crystalline class (you would say, like rainwater falling on gentle ground...) My compliments.

The leaders of their respective groups were friends and often hung out together. Paul was a big fan of the Beach Boys and frequently visited them during their recording sessions (see the recordings of "vege-tables"... good vibrations). The statement from FELO, one of those from the Olympus mentioned above, is true.
I recommend, to ease the discussion, that you buy the book "The Beatles" according to the press, published by Feltrinelli. There you will find confirmation of what FELO says, but also some additional context. Namely, the proof that one of the main causes (intimate and less known) of the dissolution of the BB was the MEDIA PERSECUTION from the trade press against them, alongside the well-documented family issues. The BBs, dazzling at their beginnings, were accused of repetitiveness and monotony. Compared to the Beatles from "Revolver" onward, they were crushed by the lack of "evolution," while the four from Liverpool shook the world with unheard-of sounds, moving in FOUR YEARS from "Love Me Do" to "Tomorrow Never Knows" (for example), and, experimenting, they found tricks to UNITE MORE SONGS INTO ONE (a thing that in Italy Battisti was the first to do).
It is said that "Good Vibrations" (wonderful to me) is the BB's response to such criticisms, indeed. Wilson has stated multiple times that Paul was a fan of his, to defend himself! It is finally said that during one of the last recording sessions of the BB (before they started having conflicts), Paul, visiting in friendship, played for them, just piano and voice, a famous ballad of his that had not yet been recorded... Wilson declared that he completely lost his confidence as a composer precisely at that moment. The BB ceased to exist shortly after.
THANKS TO ALL THE OTHERS FOR THE COMMENTS.

In the last concerts, Paul has been revisiting the song Rock Show. I saw him in June in London (as evidenced by the photo in my profile… ha ha ha). WONDERFUL! However, the show from that time had something truly magical about it, which the review helps to grasp well. Seeing a guy who at 30 years old is descending from the roof of the world he reached with the Beatles, and still manages to break through (as shown by the numbers of that WORLD TOUR…) is something that blows me away. In addition to the video, there’s also the double LP titled WINGS OVER AMERICA. It’s incredibly enjoyable and easily demonstrates how Paul has not reached that level live since (unfortunately). The Opera is the emblem of a Golden Period.
