And soon enough, with Cris W., snatched from Paul McCartney, the drumming will be back to its peak. I agree with the idea that this was the golden period of Dire Straits, one of the few bands whose live recordings match or even surpass their studio performances.

A learned and well-written review. But if I had been one of the editors, I would have asked for vacation instead of reading it all to find the points to bold. Your comment number 7 made my balls drop due to its presumptuousness. I'm sorry, but while I appreciate the "thickness" of the product offered in your reviews, boredom has taken over.
