Bouncing between enthusiastic tones and thumbs down, creating a bit of confusion... In short, it seems to me that you wrote a bit quickly, trying to condense all the many things you have to say. From what I've heard, the CD is a basket of good singer-songwriter music seasoned with superb performances. Among them, in my opinion, stands out the one with Morgan, who, beyond coca or no coca, is and remains a great musician (with less and less voice). Great performance by the good BENNATO, who is aging but still delivers it big time.

What a beautiful review. Well done. My personal little heart (that NEVER matches with that of the editors). Nathalie has a voice that leaves me breathless, and if she writes\plays\sings other songs at the level of "in punta di piedi," I will follow her with all my heart because she guides me through the dark of the Italian female musical landscape. Talent should always be celebrated, regardless of where it comes from.

Well, someone in the past suggested I might be your fake or you mine... damn, I'm starting to believe it! Luckily, you mentioned that detail about the Beatles fans... I was part of it too but never organized anything for them. I only played 4 times at the Beatles day... ; )
So I'm not you and you're not me. At least I think so...

Dear TEEN, rather than listen to you (a perfectly respectable opinion), I prefer to heed Brian Wilson himself, who does not agree with you. See "the beatles according to the press." His words, page 34/39: [the translation is mine; forgive the inaccuracies] <<People have no idea what influence the Beatles and their music have had not only on my band, but on my whole family. With Paul, I have a great friendship that has sometimes almost led to clashes, mostly due to some sort of professional envy. But most of the time, from our encounters we have drawn mutual inspiration, and I am very proud of that. When that man touches a piano, notes don’t come out, but gold. He is the closest thing to a genius that I know.>>

So here's an added gem. Lennon, primarily, had pointed out Battisti... but not so much for the experimentation, rather for being one of the first to follow in the FOOTSTEPS of the Beatles who, by the way, borrowed a practice already inflated in classical music (it's hard to really invent something), tried to combine different pieces into single songs, which ultimately culminated in the apotheosis of the B-side of Abbey Road. Even the great Beach Boys had enthusiastically followed that path, gifting the world with the wonder of "Good Vibrations," which BW publicly "dedicated" to the Beatles. What was particularly appreciated about Battisti was his ability to change the rhythmic base of his songs, even introducing odd time signatures (see "We Can Work It Out").

So, in short, whoever told me I'm 174 cm tall has always been kidding me?

Hey NES, there’s no need to keep copying and pasting! I remember what I write! By the way, it doesn't seem to me that mollica or whoever has ever highlighted such a virtue of King Paul. LONDON: the thing about the live footage from '72 actually inspires me a lot...

NES: oh you’re strong huh... I meant to say that it’s not a well-known fact, when instead millions of books have been written about the life of the man and the artist (even too many). In short, it’s a particular characteristic that, funny enough, one of his main detractors emphasizes. If this doesn’t interest you, I might be disappointed, while Paul will probably sleep well tonight. I hope this explanation satisfies the ironic hostility you show towards me, quoting the good Travaglio who here "gets it right" like cabbage at snack time. I’d also like to point out, since you’re clearly distracted, that I’m the one highlighting that we’re exaggerating with the reissues... so, sometimes, we even share the same views! Bye dear.

No one knows and no one says it, but PAUL is a huge music connoisseur, as well as a critic of rare expertise (even that bonehead Scaruffi says so). So it’s really possible that he knows the tracks. Just look at the vast list of songs for which MPL has acquired the rights.
London, you could have put in a bit more effort to convince me...
