I don't mind gamma ray, although I think they are more similar to Manowar than to Strato, but I've always preferred Tolkki over Hansen.

I didn't mean to make a comparison... in fact, it's not possible. I meant to say that those of Stratovarius cannot be considered trivial and ridiculous songs (like those of Vasco, but I could've mentioned any other artist), and certainly, you can't say they copied from Helloween; they're somewhat different. I see them as more similar to Malmsteen... in fact, I would say they have carried on his style, perfecting it. As for the comparison with Sonata, I would say the latter are less repetitive than Stratovarius, but many of their passages could be spared (with all the respect I have for Sonata, who are another band I listen to and love very much).
