Talking about him to more or less serious listeners of electronics is like mentioning Marilyn Manson to metalheads in the early 2000s: guaranteed laughs. So I give it a 5 for the hearty laughs it provides me, even though the album obviously makes me want to shit like all his others. For a year now, he has been trying to wink at both his goat-like fans and the more evolved audience that has ignored him so far, but he hasn’t quite succeeded in this endeavor yet.

I quote the first part of Extro's comment, but it's a matter of personal taste. I read this somewhere in elementary school and then in the first year of high school, I believe, perhaps it's what I liked the most by Calvino among the ones I've read.

I completely agree with the first part of the review, but in conclusion, I wouldn't be so harsh; on the contrary: the book begins to take off around the midpoint instead of feeling tired. I watched the film from the restaurant scene onward, late at night less than a month ago. But from that evening, I only recall James van der Beek's huge forehead and the nasty taste of smoke in my mouth.
