So where did metal come from?

As a child, I loved it for the "mega super ultra cool" battles in the second part; now, I’m crazy about the surreal atmospheres with Goku as a kid. The only flaw of Dragon Ball is the animated series, exploited beyond any decency, and the terrible GT.
