Anyway, thinking back to my recent past as a snotty kid surrounded by electronics, I can say as a parent that limiting, not banning, video game usage is undoubtedly a very tough but absolutely necessary thing. And I’m convinced that television is enormously more harmful than video games.

Seriously, in hindsight, I'm glad my parents set clear limits on my video game hours back then. And anyway, even though we were completely hooked on video games, my friends and I, now detoxed, certainly knew what to do at the beach or in a park when video games were off the table. I hope that kids today aren't so different from kids like me and my peers back in the day, especially considering I’m still not even twenty.
