Anyway: what did the idiot in comment 211 mean???
Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral

That Reznor is an absurdly intense guy who takes himself too seriously is well known, and that he’s not the best singer either, as well as the fact that the beauty of his lyrics is quite subjective. However, he has created some beautiful compositions and is a tremendous producer. I also thought this album was total crap when, as a snotty kid, it was presented to me as an industrial metal album that rocked: in reality, it’s one of the best industrial rock albums of the '90s and deserves at least top marks. Tracks like Eraser and The Beginning seem like nonsensical chaos at first listen, and Hurt is an absurd drag, but in reality, they are top-notch compositions; the track that (PERSONALLY) convinces me the least is March of the Pigs: powerful rock songs for me only really came out well with NIN on Broken. For me, Reznor isn't this deity on earth that many believe him to be, but he has earned his merits, the jerk.

But had I already listened to this album? But where was the insight? How many pointless comments am I leaving on this review? I'll leave just one more with the album rating, once I've fully absorbed it.
Nine Inch Nails With Teeth
Voto:
My first encounter with this record was absolutely underwhelming: maybe I (perhaps) started off biased by Grohl's presence, maybe the three standout singles struck me as all fluff and little substance, but With Teeth didn't convince me at all during the first listening. My rating for the album in the future.

It might be a trashy and messy film in the best way, but it has a great competitor that will hit theaters soon: MACHETE!
