How funny old Boyd Rice is, the stuff I used to like, he’s even done it.
KoRn Life Is Peachy

A good album, when I listened to Korn (and only them) as a child, never really captured me. The first thirty seconds of No Place to Hide are worth the price of the album.

Discovered while goofing around on YouTube, to be listened to on loop.
Martin Scorsese The Departed

Very beautiful film. Moreover, it's a successful remake of the excellent (and for me better) Infernal Affairs, and it doesn't feel like a copy or a mere variation on the theme. And that’s to be expected, with Scorsese and Nicholson at work.

They never accepted me, even during my metal phase, but Funeral Fog, Freezing Moon, Pagan Fears, and a few others whose names I can't remember I quite liked! The album deserves a five just for Attila's UH! on Funeral Fog, one of the best uh moments in rock history. Well done to the reviewer, especially because it's not easy to stay balanced when talking about unbalanced musicians like in this case.
