Listen, Poletti, you’re already making inappropriate comments about movies, and now you’re also butting in on others' discussions? Let me explain it to you again: 1) Mr. Amarok came to ridicule everyone who dared to say they understood the film. 2) In post 82, I replied to him, not so much for the rhymes, but by telling him that if he doesn’t get it, that’s his problem; if he wants simpler cinema, he should go watch Eastwood (not the Vanzina). 3) Muffinman, who is a bit quicker, told him to fuck off. 4) Amarok comes back and calls me an idiot for my nickname (?) and because I wrote Lymch (?). 5) The Captain tells him to leave, too. 6) I, being less polite than the Captain, tell him to fuck off and regret not having done it sooner like Muffin did. That’s the sense of the phrase that identifies the idiots right away. So your comment is completely irrelevant. That said, I’ll deal with your issues myself. You called me a leghista, and Muffinman a racist. Well done! Always strong logical arguments, especially without knowing people personally.

Oh no Captain, you don’t just "go", you "go fuck yourself, illiterate piece of shit, that at thirty-three years old you don't understand this film which a sixteen-year-old does, if you're mentally challenged, it's not our fault as DeBaserists, it's that they forgot to connect your brain. For fuck's sake, did I maybe insult him? He came here to say that we, who dared to say that the film is understandable, are ridiculous. Damn, Muffinman is right, he spots the idiots right away.

As we’re reaching the end, I want to thank you all once again for the compliments on this little page of mine, which had the advantage, I believe, of being "about the event." As for the writing, it could have been better (after all, I’m not a journalist by profession), and there are some things I would tweak if I could. I invite many of you to write a few more reviews to avoid finding ourselves amidst various trivialities, as I know you are all capable of doing great work. In this regard, I encourage you to get the review of the blacky, which is quite amusing, and it’s puzzling why it wasn’t published instead of the aforementioned trivialities. While I’m at it, I’d like to inform him that my reference guitarists are not the ones he mentioned, but rather NY and TM, so you fortunately won’t see a review of my decrepit group. This page was also an attempt to discuss, without insults, what happened at the time of the release of "In Rainbows," regarding Radiohead, who, whether you like them or not, are nonetheless important. It seems we've managed to do that, and that’s the best thing. A pathetic finish, so go ahead and start the insults. But I’m out. P.S. Alessio, the last EN has two pieces that are nothing short of terrifying; the rest is a bit boring: arridateje 'er trapano!

Amarok 74: look, if you don't understand a damn thing, that's your problem. This Lymch is not complicated at all; Rikardo summarized the plot for you in three lines in post 28. Eraserhead is certainly more complex, but back then I saw it at the Cineforum with the help of a synecdoche, so it was understandable nonetheless. As I said: if someone wants to put in a little effort, Lynch will reward you. Otherwise, go watch Eastwood, which is very simple and he'll reward you too (this way I make Poletti happy).

I thank all the newcomers and wish everyone a Happy New Year, especially to Vitalogy (blessed are you for being away from the Internet; unfortunately, I worked every day except for the first, when I did the review). After the chaos surrounding the reviews of "In Rainbows," I feared there would be more fighting; instead, the new year has brought peace and brotherhood (maybe it's Sanjuro and Rivoli who are without the internet). Doctor J, what day do you have the ticket for? I have it for the 17th. If that's the case, we could finally settle our famous brawl :-). Lastly, I have to argue with Sterbus; the allusions to Drake in that piece aren't something only Black and I noticed. Bertoncelli mentioned Drake too, even if he’s not fond of him, generally throughout the entire album. And I agree. If you had listened to Dylan, Ochs, Fred Neil, Young, Buckley, just to name a few great acoustic artists, I would have talked about them. Try listening to the piece again: perhaps it's primarily the strings that sound very Boyd. Finally, Tomgil is obviously right that "Fake Plastic Tree" was better. But... that is a song that is nothing short of "monstrous."

Damn these fucking attachments. I still haven't been able to open the Black review because it's in ppt and I don’t have Power Point. Alessio, give me some time, sooner or later I’ll convert it to mp3 and send it back to you. As for In Rainbows, album of the year, let’s say it’s in the top five, alongside Caribou, Bachi da Pietra, Grinderman, and Lcd Soundsystem. The one I've listened to the most is from 2006, James Holden - The Idiots are winning, but it’s electronic and I don’t think you’ll like it. Sooner or later I’ll have to muster the courage to try the one by Dinosaur!

Hi Alessio, I hadn't seen your post because I was writing mine. I know they annoy you; in fact, while writing my review, I thought about yours on running out of gas. As you can see, I used the metaphor of the game instead. Before Christmas, I sent you a piece from my group to the address you gave me. Did it arrive? I don't think so.
