Marlene Kuntz Il vile

Since I'm being cited (could it be Polettato Alessio? It's your fault!), I'll share my thoughts too. I loved this album; it seems more complete than Catartica, which, however, had a couple of the best tracks in all of Italian rock (Sonica and Nuotando nell'aria). In the end, I agree with Black (I need to soften up a bit for the man, who I assume is suffering the pains of hell for yet another losing season) that Hai paura is better. And this is not for unfathomable reasons of the heart, but because the Vile suffers from a derivation, as Galakordi says, that is inseparable from the Sonic. The Afta, on the other hand, uniquely blend Battisti and grunge, creating a new sound that belongs to them and no one else. Furthermore, Hai Paura has, beyond the songwriting, a beautiful sound, with those effects, noises, voices; I believe it's more Xabier's work than Manuel's, who will never return. Forgive me, I realize I come across as a bit pompous, but in the end, it's just a little opinion.

I expected an absolute disaster, after the second one which was quite terrible, while I adored the first. Instead, all in all, it’s going pretty well.

By now an absolute classic of pop. When it was released, it didn't seem like it could become one. Yet it has grown over the years. Sorry, the review doesn't tell me much, also because, being a classic, I've probably read about twenty of them... and it contains a rather gross error, the first Stone Roses, another almost classic, is from 1989.

Dear Gustavo Tanz, a) I assume I’m not, considering another couple of guys around my age, whom I respect, namely Vortex and Iside, think like me; b) I couldn’t care less if you dislike me; c) since I haven't argued with anyone for a while, ridiculous you can shove it up your ass, jerk. P.S. The only Poletti around here is you, who gives judgments devoid of any critical apparatus, and you get angry if someone touches your favorite little groups.

@Orwell: I often hear your speech echoed by Toto Cotugno: "How dare you criticize me, you who do not make records." @Alessio: Exactly, the Offlaga are the symptom, the emblem, the synonym of how the left is doing right now in Italy. Old, backward, distant from the people, with their noses in the air, lacking any drive towards the future, closed in their own world thinking they are better. And these are the results: it has vanished. And yet, no humility, no mea culpa, it’s always someone else's fault. And here we are, applauding the Offlaga, how smart they are, what interesting music, how well they evoke our memories, "In a new place of the ARCI." But the new places of the ARCI have been gone for over twenty years. The Offlaga are no better than anything and worse than many things. That’s why in a previous review I said they are worth as much as Finley or Negramaro, a paradox that obviously no one understood. Just like the victory of the League. For fifteen years, people who used to vote Communist have started voting for the League. The only difference is that when they voted for the PCI, they were good people; now they are assholes. I can’t stand this shit elitism anymore. I hope that sooner or later the Offlaga go to Sanremo, which is their natural outlet. P.S. Whether you come to call me or Vortex salon iconoclasts, trust me, we lived through the '80s in social centers, and I assure you that it doesn't come back.

I can only agree with the two illustrious previous posters. And then some have the courage to complain about the League and its results. But blessed children, as long as you applaud these Offlaga Disco Pacco, you deserve the disaster. It's been fifteen years since the left has understood the League and then praises these three rich kids, more boring than a Gigidalessio at a concert in Berghem, musically ten years behind, the lyrics instead by twenty. "In a new place of the ARCIIIIIII!"

Finally, someone who has reviewed this album! Overall, I agree with what you say, so I won't add anything else. Great album, but not all the songs are great songs; some we've heard too many times already.

Tepes, it's time for you to seriously consider giving yourself to pop.
