The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers

Hi. As far as I know: Richards doesn’t play on “Moonlight Mile” (the acoustic is played by Jagger), and the song is mostly composed by Taylor, who came up with the string arrangement, starting from a brief riff by Richards called “Japanese Thing” or something like that. In “Sway,” on the other hand, Richards plays the main riff, Jagger plays it at some point too, and Taylor only does the solo. Taylor has always claimed he wrote it, but the riff sounds very much like a Richards one to me.

Dear Vortex, if you're in the mood to discuss, I'm all for it. Even though there are many issues, and I no longer possess the gift of brevity. I believe I was misunderstood; rather, I didn’t explain myself well. The strong point of LLCDE seems to me to be an incredibly comprehensive imagery. In other words, it works for a forty-year-old (perhaps too much, as my friend Giuliana noted, "What the hell does he know about Berlinguer's funeral?") as well as for a twenty-year-old. It doesn’t have that absolutely annoying and unbearable reductionism typical of Offlaga (and I think you agree on this). Where is the common thread? I believe it lies in the absolute pessimism present in its stories, which brings it closer to maturity, alongside experiences like the wars in Bosnia and Iran or the AIDS epidemic, which few have echoed in recent years. I agree with you on the invincibility of being twenty, but I don’t understand where you’re trying to go with this. Does the guy sound fake to you because at twenty-four he should be doing something else? I had a chat with him, and he seems to me absolutely what we call "un bon putèl" around here. A nice guy, in short. At the concert, amidst a crowd for once filled with people of all ages and tastes (appreciated by both a metal-loving friend and a graphic designer friend who only comes to concerts because he’s convinced he’ll see something interesting with me, poor guy). This is my point of view; others will speak for the twenty-somethings, but I see many of them appreciating it, from Ghemi to Alessio to poor Corey5. Perhaps, if I may say so, because there's a romanticism of defeat that fascinates when you're twenty. Even if I, like you, amidst an Ian Curtis and a Lydon, used to blast "Love Action" to the point of stunning the entire neighborhood when I was sixteen. P.S.: For a possible misunderstanding among younger folks, it’s a smash hit from the Human League.

Very envious. A few too many grammatical mistakes for my mental troubles in the review.

Here you go: to slam a Tricky album, you really need some guts. You cut yours off before even starting to write. The fact that it takes a lot of smoke in your system to appreciate it is another matter. But that’s what you were supposed to do...

I notice that this is the third review of one of his concerts in a couple of weeks. Not because I wrote one of the three, as some malicious person might think. But it must mean something if we go see Vasco and have to tell the world about it, as if we had seen RATM (that’s ironic, by the way). I also note, just to be a devil's advocate, that no one reviewed the official release. And perhaps this means something too. Of course, Vortex presents me with some problems: is it old inside? And here I was thinking I was young :-(. Anyway, as for the lyrics, if it’s true that they have a '77 flavor, it’s also true that they contain a series of images that anyone can relate to. The smoke that smells like paraffin, the eco-monsters, the parking meters and shopping centers, television, the war in Iran, interim loves, with our serious discussions only enriching the telephone companies, Ryan Air flights, the desecrated beaches, the piercing holes, raving on the enterprise, we’ll be your best suppliers of mines, watch out for the cats with AIDS, they weren’t around in '77. Or maybe they were?

I didn't even read it; just seeing the title and the author of the review was enough to make me smirk (maybe it’s the whites I have in me?). Vortex, when are we organizing a DeMeeting for the veterans? Just don't put me on Paola Turci...P.S. I was just about to buy the vinyl these days; back when I was young and broke, I used Tdk, which has now become crap.

There's a small problem, which in a matter of seconds also mentions the things I quoted in the review and "And never have cold hands and never run out of cigarettes." And three phrases that stay in the same song, I'm sorry, but I hadn't heard them in ages.

Dear Super and Ole, as much as it may be necessary, I obviously regret ruining other people's pages with my insults. After all, I have two options: either get banned or let other DeBaserists know what a piece of psychobable shit Blackdog is. Super reminded us of an example (someone who creates a fake account to give themselves good ratings and is so stupid that they send their comments from a junkyard with the fake...). It's pointless to recall my arguments with the idiot. I only want to point out that I have tried several times, and not him, to close the matter. He didn't want to. You both know that I've argued with others and I've always made peace. I'm sorry, but as long as I'm a DeBaserist, which at times I still take pride in, I will throw shit on this infamous character whenever I see his jerk behaviors. Sorry again, and thank you Super for your hospitality.

You, on the other hand, are nothing but a illiterate piece of shit Blackdog, with the presumption of acting like a teacher. You always have to make double or triple posts, which says a lot about your abilities: those of an idiot.
