I’m here too, I could be GustavoTanz's father, saying that the latest Porty is a huge pain in the ass.

In my opinion, the phrase "He changed his name (Kristian) considering it too Christian" ranks in the top five of the most absurd statements I've read about Deb since the beginning of the year.

Beautiful Primi. Even though you stumble on the double negative "neanche... non guasta" (it does, it really does:-). And that despite what you tell me, I will never find the courage to watch/listen to it. Even though Martin plus Stones should be the ultimate for me. Regarding Taylor (my favorite guitar hero, alongside Verlaine and Young), the point is not his presence/absence... it's that they haven’t made masterpieces since then, maybe just a few good albums (Black and Blue, Some Girls, Tattoo You (in which, by the way, Taylor still plays on a couple of tracks).
Gabriella Cilmi Lessons To Be Learned

Sometimes I feel like Deb is just a support system for the A&Rs at the record labels, which isn’t such an absurd thought (they're so clueless they don't even realize what they're writing). That said, the review is, as already noted, embarrassing and does very little justice to Cilmi. She has nothing to do with Gray and can’t yet bring flowers to the graves of our heroines, but at sixteen, she has a voice that’s nothing short of monstrous. The best singer I’ve heard since discovering Antony, definitely better than Winehouse. The album is only halfway there and certainly not on the level of Amy, who has a whole different caliber of producers by her side. As an heir to Winehouse, whose health conditions don’t look promising, she is definitely the best, a hundred times better than that Italian one, whose name I don’t know, but whose single occasionally haunts me with that awful twang. Cilmi, on the other hand, is pure vocal talent, without too many frills; just listen to her in some live sessions. If she teams up with Mark Ronson or is invited to sing with the Massives, we could see some surprises. For now, it’s one of the few listenable pop chart albums this year. 3.5.

I completely agree with you, one of the disappointments of the year. I'm glad that Era vulgaris also sucks for you. Last year I was mauled for trashing it. Where are all the know-it-alls who judge in advance? Has anyone, a year later, realized that it's a pathetic album?

Nice proposal. I'm just puzzled by that "start and stop": Isn't it "stop and go"?

@Uh, Isi, there are two things: that you didn't like it and that you shouldn't listen to my advice.
