Beauty will save the world, but when Ferretti claims that strength is beauty, I would draw such a cd, which has so worn my reader, into the water (closet). What has been and what is not.
Queen A Day At The Races

Since I never agree with blackdog, can I say that I agree with blackdog, and formulate a thoughtful, analytical, and overall objective judgment? The Queen make me sick. That said, I hope you can forgive me and I wish you all a good night.

P.S. One of the beautiful things, as Arianna says, is that the album grows with each listen.

Nostalgia for the future? Is that not enough?

I'm with Tricky, as usual. The record is nothing short of horrid. I don't know, but I associate it with Yorke's solo: only that the Red Head is a half genius, while Ferretti, if he doesn't find the Zamboni or the Maroccolo of the moment, is musically null.

Miss Silvani, you are insulting me for no reason. If Interpol were to imitate U2, I would be the first one to get pissed off. The fact is, however, that I'm still not completely out of my mind.

De gustibus non disputandum, but Vic Sorriso, which disco did you listen to when you say it's "sunny"? It starts with what, musically speaking, is a funeral march ("Pioneer to the falls"). And the lyrics talk about death. The lyrics are all sad: drugs ("Rest Mi Chemistry") and love affairs gone wrong. I won't go into a track by track analysis: they'll get plenty of action, lucky them, but they always sing about the same things.
AA.VV. Maciste Contro Tutti

Funny enough, I recently listened to the album again after years of not touching it. Leaving aside the C.S.I., to avoid getting lost on winding paths, I remembered the Disciplinatha much better; they really seem to have aged poorly. I found the Ustmamo pitiful as always. I've never understood why they were so heavily promoted back in the day: there are hundreds of bands, in the land of our poor homeland, that are better. Redeghieri is, to say the least, an embarrassing singer. She possesses a rare combination of unlikability and arrogance, or so I've been told by everyone who has known her.
