I only saw the second half at Caffè Hemingway in Modica. By now I know enough that when I saw Pupone targeting Burdisso, I knew he was going to take him down... Me, the Fighetta who shines his lips, I would have kicked him in the ass for years, he doesn't understand a thing. I mean: this year we could have won the scudetto even if it was just you and me on the bench. In the Champions League, for once, we were stronger than Milan and then we get kicked out by Valencia? Going to their place, where we had to win, playing with Burdisso in the midfield, and putting Figo in with fifteen minutes to go. If we were supposed to walk away with a 0-0, then great, for heaven's sake. Maybe no one explained to him that it wasn't enough. This team is good for winning only the Coppa Italia. This year I hope you win the league, so they send him away. The problem is that then Moratti will bring in Capello. The problem is Moratti.

I believe... the support group on the next tour of the New Jersey cowboy. Maybe. That way he discovers that the U.S.A. is not at the center of the universe. I didn't listen to him in the '80s, let alone now. P.S.: are you sick? You haven't made fun of me yet for Burdisso's foul on Pupone!

Oh my goodness, you’re as tough as a piece of pottery. Hasn't grandma explained the difference between subject and object to you? It’s not a matter of who is speaking, but what is being talked about. Forget about Piero Sraffa, we’re still back at Plato here.

@Blacky: Hi, no Sicily, in the middle of Baroque. And the girls from Modica! I fell in love, but if you were there too, eh, you would have fallen in love as well, I know it! @Happy: is it possible that you never understand a damn thing? :-) I maintain that certain works cannot be discussed unless you have something extraordinary to say. I know that I don't know, so I won't even tackle this masterpiece. I've read it a thousand times, does anything interesting get said here? Seems like no. So why not talk about something else? P.S. I've always preferred: Never confuse the Mona with money.

No, sorry, I may sound like a pesky little teacher, but you can't write a review stating that a band is influenced by a series of musicians, including writers and a right wing... Wall of Voodoo have no techno-pop spirit; if anything, they have a western spirit and mix Morricone with electronics. In my review, I say that Interpol are associated by others with Smiths and Television. I don’t associate them with anything, I believe they have their own style. No hard feelings, but you can't make such a mess in just a handful of lines :-).

Anyway, if you review "Fun House," I'll still go with Wittgenstein or grandma of Happypippo. Always better than resorting to insults...

Can I break your balls with the usual "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent"? 5 stars because I can't give 7.

Anais Nin is a writer, known for being the lover of Henry Miller. John Banville, Irish writer. Chris Waddle, English winger from the '80s-'90s. Wall of Voodoo do not make techno-pop, just as Slayer do not play reggae. I'm sorry: study more. Deferred to September.

Maybe he's in prison, he has an old computer and just a couple of Tom Petty tapes, that's it. Because the statement that "he's currently the best American songwriter" can only come from someone who doesn't listen to American rock...

Masterpiece. One of the ten albums to save from the universal flood. Also because it never gets old. I have it on vinyl, on CD, and on cassette... so I can listen to it wherever I am. I can't say anything intelligent, because I don't know much about jazz and its beauty is beyond words. I can only recommend to anyone who doesn't own it to give it a listen. It will be impossible not to fall in love with it.
