Hi Bjorky, Have you recovered from the emotion? I didn't want to make you shed warm tears, baby. I never wanna make you cry! I'm ready, I'm ready, I can't wait! Just so you know, I'm unbeatable at balenghi!

Of course, you are excused. Perhaps you are, indeed, a bit subjective :-). The problem isn’t the guitar or the piano. It’s more about electric vs. acoustic, intimacy vs. openness-confrontation with the world. It's a retreat into oneself that I’m not comfortable with. An almost "obligation" to seek other paths that I didn't think was necessary. A feeling of aging that isn’t really there. Within rock music, reaching for the unplugged now seems like a cliché to me. And that’s not what I expect from Polly. Then again, as much as I adore her, if I'm writing a review, I have to try to be objective and not just a fan. It seems to me that the main problem is that the work doesn’t hold up overall. Beyond the quality, which is also excellent, of some songs. I look forward to hearing from you when you've listened to it completely, because, of course, I could always be wrong.

P.S.: I realize I haven't thanked enough. Especially Grant and Bjorky: incredible! Anyway, thanks. From the heart.

Thank you all for your attention, as usual, and, as usual, a few responses here and there. The issue of the album not yet released (it comes out on the 24th). As I've mentioned before, most albums by "big" artists are reviewed in advance in newspapers, usually listening to the advance copy at the record label. So I allow myself to do the same, although I listen to the album at least ten times before reviewing it. Kosmo, you are right when you say that this way the discussion about the album doesn’t ignite. My adoration for Polly has prevented me from waiting for the 24th, and it itched too much not to talk about it and share my opinions with other Debaserists. Then on Monday at 8:30 PM I discovered that a Norwegian radio station had broadcast an showcase of ours from 6 to 8 PM, and I missed it! Unfortunately, more than a precox, I didn’t have any eiaculatio :-). In Portland, which frustrates me, I can only confirm, as the Captain said, that he didn't understand the review. Of course, it’s not his fault, but mine, as I am addressing, in this case, mainly some elders like Bjorky and Vortex, who at my and Polly's age understand certain things better. Furthermore, I don't fully agree with Vortex on the comparison, often used, between Santa Patti and the Polly of "Stories...", but I find it hard to explain, it's more a matter of instinct. Finally, I don't agree with odradek, because it neither seemed to me that Polly was in a dead end (the two previous albums were very different), nor do I think this is her future, but only a moment of transition (of course I could be wrong).

Ah! What a beautiful time! Thank you Vortex for bringing it back. Back then, my second band and I used to do a cover of "Let's go to bed" that lasted about fifteen minutes. Fortunately, I seem to recall, we never played it live again. Indeed, it's the turning point. Nothing will ever be the same again. One of my shadow lines, as well as Robert's. Who the hell cares, you might say, and you would be absolutely right.

A lovely rediscovery for an underrated group. Perhaps Isid is right; they haven’t aged particularly well. My older friends and I are more likely to play their songs on guitar than to listen to them, in fact. It happened again this summer. If you’ve never listened to them, allow yourself a few hours. They’ve written a handful of truly enchanting ballads.

So here you are, since you have the usual shitty arrogance, you can't even recognize your own grammar and spelling mistakes, and you have to jump straight to insults. The only one who needs to see a psychiatrist here is you, and that's a fairly widespread opinion on Debaser. A nice etiquette course wouldn't hurt you at all.
