Poletti, in my house we say that math is not an opinion. Now, if Totò made a hundred films, I have no idea, but I'll grant you that at least ten, not four or five, are better than this one. So, could you kindly list, besides these ten that I presume we agree on, another ten that are better than Zombi? I’ll tell you right away that Tototarzan, Che fine ha fatto Babytotò; Totò cerca moglie, Totò cerca casa, Totò cerca pace, and I pompieri di viggiù, I doubt they are. P.S. Who ever said that Zombi is one of the ten best films in history or talked about "Quarto potere"? You're not strong in math, but I believe you understand Italian.

@Hardrock: always click cicco, both cicche and cicchetti, not "especially when I say they think they are artists." I heard Godano, a couple of weeks ago, complaining on the radio in the morning that he woke up early, while he, being an artist and doing the artist thing, is used to getting up late. To prevent any objections, he immediately reiterated that yes, he considers himself one. Now if even Gigi D'Alessio is an artist, then Godano is too; if this word still has any meaning, Nick Cave is one, Godano is not. In my humble opinion, of course. I don't know if your nickname refers to the fact that you are from '92. My problem is that I've been listening to them since '92. And they haven't changed a damn thing since then. Here they unplug, there they're a bit more pop, but it's always the same old reheated soup (from the last album, I only needed to hear the 45, damn it sounds like a piece from the Zamboni/Matto duo fifteen years ago). And honestly, I can't stand the lyrics anymore, but speak like you eat, once in a while! Said by someone who has long considered them among the two or three best Italian bands of the time. I have all their records and I've seen them live six/seven times, even twice on the same tour. Now enough, they've driven me crazy.

In Polè, it’s not a bad thing; it’s the seriousness of the whole discourse that’s off. Lighten up a bit. Try watching this film a couple of times! How can one call it boring and pedantic? That’s a statement that is not of this world, as if you told me you don’t like Bellucci because she has a big butt. Come on, aside from de gustibus, try to be a little objective. Zombies is definitely better than all of the work from the last fifteen years of Fellini’s career or 90% of Totò's films.

You’re sitting at the bar, and at some point you hear his voice and think, ā€œThis isn't a Depeche track, I haven’t read anywhere that Depeche is releasing a new album… did he do it?ā€ Four on the trust of the single (I suppose) heard at the bar.

Well! Should we say they've become a joke? Alright, I'll say it. I even agree with Ghemison, who as usual hasn't listened to the album. Should we make some enemies? Why not. Who cares. The Marlene are done. They have been for a few years now. How many bands can churn out good albums on their sixth or seventh release? Why should they be able to? Because they think they’re artists? And they do an unplugged, because they don’t know where else to go. The life of a rocker is sad; you’re approaching forty and you’re not Sonic Youth. What do you do? A book, an unplugged, the radio hit with the girl whose name I can't even remember... slint, shak, I don't know? Oh, but it's the old fans who don’t understand a thing, we’re evolving. Too bad we’re so old that we’ve already heard it two thousand times. The Marlene right now, and for quite some time, simply suck. Period and stop. We've turned the page. Unfortunately, they haven’t. You know Pelù, a parody of himself for twenty years? And Godano?

Oh, can I say that this Allevi seems like a fraud to me? Oh, I haven't heard entire albums, but every piece I've heard makes me think of a Richard Clayderman (is it spelled like that?) for the wealthy (in spirit). No, because somewhere, I've seen him compared to Keith, who may be unpleasant, but as a former friend of mine used to say, it's a bit like confusing shit with risotto. Sorry for the intrusion.

Thank you, Leonid, even if not for the old one. Here, if there’s anyone old, it’s Poletti, who prefers Totò and Fellini to the Zombies... oh my, Poletti, what a pain, okay, we may not like each other, but you really go out of your way... :-)
